We traveled with David. He is an amazing storyteller and we had a good time. Didn't feel the time passing. You get to see a lot of things and there are many breaks that allow you to enjoy the views and take pictures. Will for sure reserve with Rabbie's again another time in Scotland ❤️

A truly great tour! We enjoyed the wild beauty of the Highlands, while our guide Graham shared information on local history and music, with the appropriate soundtrack. The bus was comfortable, our guide(s) knowledgeable and friendly, and the scenery out of this world. We even got up close and personal with Highland coos and this Greek saw her first snow of the year. My favorite day in Scotland so far!

A long day but the tour gives you a great taste of the Highlands if you've never been before and also ideas of where to visit if you plan on going back as we do.The scenery is breathtaking.Steve was a great guide, very friendly and full of information. We made several more stops than were planned on our route which Steve felt [quite rightly) we would enjoy.Waterfalls reached with a short woodland walk, a stop to feed Highland cattle all of which enriched our experience.I do recommend taking a small rucksack with some sandwiches/drinks/snacks to eat enroute as the longest stop is 30 minutes. If you stop to order food etc you will not have time to see what you are there for..loch/views/rivers/mountains/monuments etc.The cruise on Loch Ness was chilly but a tot of whisky from the bar sorted that out nicely! Unfortunately Nessie didn't come out to play though! We plan on doing a road trip in the Highlands in the future so this was a great introduction for us.I highly recommend it.

Great tour with amazing views. Grahame our mini bus driver was excellent. We had plenty of stops to get off the mini bus and admire the views and stretch your legs. I had originally booked this tour with a coach company who cancelled 2 days before due to a lack of numbers. My husband wasn’t keen on doing the tour because he didn’t like the idea of being on a coach/mini bus for 12 hours. He’s 6ft tall and was concerned about leg room. He had no problems at all and said he would definitely recommend the tour, this is from a guy who struggles to sit in a cinema seat for 2 hours. Rabbie’s tours DON’T cancel due to lack of numbers so your tour will definitely go ahead. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them. Once again a big thankyou to Grahame who made it a wonderful experience with his knowledge and stories of Scotland.

First off, keep in mind the weather. This is a cold weather review. If you take this tour in the winter, dress appropriately. Water proof shoes especially. It was cold and wet, a typical Scottish highland winter day. Several people on the tour were very uncomfortable because of this. For us, it was an excellent tour and day. David was our guide and he was amazing. He went out of his way for the group on more than one occasion. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour started at 745, and it was easy to find at the coach station, and well organized. The bus is small, it’s a 2-1 seat system, so if you’re alone you may be asked to sit on a single window seat to accommodate couples. But the bus isn’t as roomy as the larger coaches and there are no cup holders etc. It is a 12 hour day. You cover over 300km. But it was still fun and the sightseeing was good even with the rain. The highlands are beautiful. We did get a few glimpses of the sun. David made sure to have enough stops to use the restrooms. Your main stop, Fort Augustus (Loch Ness) is a very small town with not a lot of options for food. We brought plenty of snacks just in case. We had just enough time to grab a couple to go sandwiches and check a couple souvenir shops before we boarded our Loch Ness cruise. The weather broke into sunshine and it was awesome. There are a couple bad reviews about being hurried etc. you’re on a tour that is 12 hours and also traffic dependent etc. be prepared. Have an open mind and enjoy the scenery. If this sounds like too much rent a car and go at your own pace. Hopefully you get David as a guide! Pro tip: bring a backpack with a portable charger for your phones, rain gear etc. and a small foldable cooler or such for snacks and drinks. Food was available at various stops along the way, but even off season it was busy and long lines may prevent you from getting something during peak season.

What a GREAT day! We did the one day Edinburgh to the highlands/Loch Ness trip. Well worth the trip if you don’t have too long in Edinburgh. Our tour guide was called Stevie C, he was the best tour guide ever. He told us about the history of Scotland, folklore, jokes and put on some tunes that were also linked to Scotland. Above all the whole trip was breath taking (lots of stops for toilet, snacks/shopping and photo opportunities)! It was a well structured day! Amazing service and sites, we saw highland cows 🐮 they were absolutely adorable 🥰 the beautiful Glencoe/highlands and an informative Loch Ness boat trip!

We spent most of the day in the bus, stopping only briefly for photos and then being rushed off to the next location. We were told there would be cows, but there weren’t any. The whole trip was quite exhausting and felt poorly organized. At least the views were nice, which was the only real highlight of the day.
