4.00We enjoyed this tour and Agate, our tour guide. She has incredible knowledge of the chateaux we visited, and it was helpful to have the background information. The wine tours in the afternoon were also nice, and we liked visiting two different types of wineries. The tour stops back in Tours for lunch as some visitors do only the morning or only the afternoon portions. It would make for a more enjoyable day if the half day bookings were separate so lunch could be in one of the smaller villages for those doing the full day.

5.00It was a lovely tour of two Château and two wineries. Our guide, Marion was superb and very friendly. She made everybody feel comfortable and was knowledgeable about local history and winemaking. We enjoyed her company very much. The trip was just the right amount of time and activity.

5.00Great tour to Aznay-le-rideau, Villandry and Vouvray vineyards. Agathe was a fantastic guide who made you feel very welcome. It was only a small group. She was very knowledgeable and I learnt a lot about the châteaux, the vineyard tour and wine tasting was also great. Entrance fees and the tastings were included in the price. I would definitely recommend this tour as it was a guided tour with some free time at both château and a tour of the cave then wine tasting.

5.00We spent three unforgettable days touring the Loire Valley with A La Française, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide, Chloé White-Blampey, was exceptional. With a PhD in architectural history, she brought each château to life with rich historical context and thoughtful insights into the architecture. Over the course of the tour, we visited stunning châteaux including Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, Château de Chenonceau, and others. Chloé’s passion and depth of knowledge made every stop engaging and memorable. We also explored a variety of local wineries, which added a fun and flavorful dimension to the trip. The tour was well-paced, well-organized, and full of highlights. I highly recommend A La Française and especially Chloé to anyone looking to experience the best of the Loire Valley.

4.00This was a great experience. Our guide, Dimitri, was both funny and knowledgeable, which made the long day much more enjoyable. His witty commentary and energy really helped the day go by smoothly. The tour is definitely worth doing — the château views and the wine tasting were both excellent.
