5.00This is a fabulous educational experience taking in the beautiful sites of London, but also learning how to create great photographic moments! This was a wonderful half-day spent with a brilliant professional photographer (Lou) who showed us some beautiful sites around town, but also coached us through the elements of lovely photography! Thoroughly enjoyed our guide and her guidance! Thank you, Lou!

5.00The tour with Lou was fantastic, I learnt a lot about my new camera and how to take photos using manual settings. She was very easy to follow and answered my many questions. We walked lots of kms and I was able to capture great photos of all the places I was so keen to see and photograph in London. Communication was fantastic prior to the tour and instructions for the meeting place were easy to understand and Lou was very punctual. I highly recommend Lou and hope to be back again one day for another tour.

5.00I had the most amazing day with Lou . She was lovely! so helpful and encouraging- really friendly with endless patience ( which is needed with me) . We spent the day in Shoreditch /Brick lane which was perfect for street photography. I will be seeing Lou again next month and also considering signing up for a mentorship . If you are thinking of learning more about street photography then Lou is the best don’t hesitate!

5.00Lou showed us that even in inclement weather we could still take great photos. She was an excellent teacher and tour guide. We would recommend doing this tour if you want to take some great shots of London.

5.00During our short family trip to London, my daughter and I were looking for a knowledgeable guide to help us develop our photography skills a little, while exploring some of the city’s many photogenic attractions. We found Lou here on TA, and booked a half day tour with her. Our day started well, and only got better. Arriving at the meeting spot, Lou was there promptly to greet us. She was very knowledgeable and personable, and took a moment to get to know a little about us, our photography skill levels, our cameras, and what we were wanting to learn, before we set off on our walking tour. As a fairly seasoned wildlife photographer, I was looking for assistance on photo composition and cityscapes. My daughter is fairly new to the hobby, and was in need of more basic help, including camera settings and more fundamental skills. Helped by her deep appreciation of art and years of teaching experience, Lou found a way to adjust her teaching style to help both of us. We couldn’t have been happier. We came hoping to capture London images a little better, and left seeing the world a little differently. Thank you Lou! Highly recommended.

5.00I had a wonderful time with Lou during a private photography tour of London highlights. She had a great working knowledge of my specific camera and offered a few very helpful hints. More importantly, she was able to express her creative vision as an artist, which allowed me to begin to evaluate a travel scene in a new exploratory and more creative way... to read the scene, pick out the elements, and frame the image. Thank you Lou!

5.00My tour guide and instructor Lou was truly first class & I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a memorable photo experience in London. Lou was encouraging, helpful, knowledgable and knew her stuff very well. If I get back to London I would definitely book another tour.

5.00I had a great tour with Lou through London. Her teaching style is perfect, and she really helped me to understand how to use my camera to take better photos and venture away from all the automatic settings. I came away with some excellent photos and a significantly better understanding of how to compose and structure shots and make the best use of my camera. If you've got a DSLR camera, but have never ventured beyond the automatic or pre-programmed settings, then this is the tour for you.

5.00I had a lovely day with Lou on a Thursday in March. I consider myself an advanced amateur (though Lou said I should consider myself intermediate) so I already had some knowledge of my camera and settings. For me, this tour was about getting the best shots and advice from a local and a photography professional. Lou was everything I could have wished for in a guide. Professional, personable, and knowledgeable. She had read up on my camera model before we met so she knew it's capabilities and we used that knowledge to get some amazing shots. 100% would highly recommend. If I am ever back in London, I'll be meeting up with Lou again for one of the other myriad tours she offers.
