Our host will take you on a journey where you'll step back in time and get a feel of London's patchwork history. Together, you'll discover the stories that shaped this city's unique history. From the cobbled streets where the Fire of London first started to the old grounds of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the historic silk trade of Spitalfields to the very pub where Dickens drank (a practical approach is key, so why not enjoy a drink while you’re here?) there’s a fascinating history around every corner.
Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded local host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

5.00Alan was a perfect guide. Kept the tour interesting while not overwhelming us with too much or rushing through spots of interest. He tailored the historical stops to meet our interests. This pub stop was a nice chance to relax and just chat. Highly recommend this tour!

I received a whirlwind tour of the Parliament building, Westminster, London Tour, London Bridge, the Southbank and other key sites. Very pleasant and willing to move around the city with speed and great historical insights. Highly recommended.
