These are my personal highlights of this great city. London consists of two cities: the City of London and the City of Westminster of which both are covered in this thrilling London experience. We will take in legendary historical, social and cultural attractions for which London is world famous as well as lots of hidden gems.

The tour is delivered with informative commentary of the sights of London. Plenty of photograph opportunities are planned into the schedule, with short strolls included to get a full flavour of the sights.

No two Capital Cabbie tours are ever the same – let me know your interests and I’ll build them into the tour. My goal is to provide you and your group with an unforgettable sightseeing experience. The City of London is known as the square mile and is the heart of the original Roman city 'Londinium' which had a defensive wall surrounding it to secure it from attacks from invading tribes. During our time within the city walls, we will see a host of historical sites including: The Tower of London Tower Bridge Guildhall St Paul's Cathedral Temple Bar

We did the capital tour highlights with David. He was prompt, professional and delightful. David weaved his wealth of knowledge, history and anecdote throughout our day connecting each location to a memory. He made sure we could see as much as we wanted and that our day was the speed and feel we desired. He brought us snacks & water and also kept our safety and needs at the forefront. We chatted like old friends and truly felt like we were by the end of the tour. David also made sure to get pictures of us as we beamed with vacation joy throughout this incredibly beautiful town. This is the BEST way to see London and I am so thankful we were able to have this perfect day!

Our tour guide in London was an absolute gem! Not only did he expertly guide us through the city’s iconic landmarks, ensuring we didn’t miss a single must-see sight, but he also went above and beyond by introducing us to some lesser-known treasures that made the experience truly unforgettable. His passion for London’s history and hidden corners shone through at every stop. Among the highlights were our visits to Lock & Co. Hatters, where we couldn’t resist picking up a couple of stylish hats, and James Fox, the legendary tobacconist where Winston Churchill himself once sourced his cigars. These unique stops, paired with his engaging storytelling, gave us a deeper appreciation for London beyond the usual tourist trail. He struck the perfect balance between informative and entertaining, keeping us captivated without ever feeling rushed. This is how you see London when you only have a day! Toured with David, which had been recommended by a friend from a year prior. He picked us up at out hotel and took us to see all the “normal” highlights PLUS hidden gems you would not even know about otherwise - such as a Roman amphitheater that was discovered under a museum during construction. Font of knowledge, excellent driver, plus you are with your own driver/guide and not having to share him with anyone. I am very glad we spent our money this way. Well worth it!

David is an amazing tour director. He's very knowledgeable about the history of the area. He knew more about the Beatles than I did...which is saying something. He does everything he can to make sure you have the best tour anywhere. I would highly recommend David for any type of tour. I can't say enough about the way we were treated, the things we were shown and the things we learned along the way. David is the best around.
