What To Expect
This is a private transfer and tour, exclusive to you. We will meet you at your hotel or airport, help you with your luggage, and take you to the cruise terminal at Southampton Port. We can comfortably take 4 people plus luggage in our Land Rover Discovery. Your tour along the way- we aim to put you in the right places to see the best that Britain has to offer. Our knowledge, your adventure. Southern England is packed full of great things to see from World Heritage sites such as Stonehenge, to ancient towns and cities like Salisbury and Winchester. The picturesque countryside is still very much a working landscape. The smaller villages and hamlets that are found within the farmland and Downs are full of local character and charm. We can be flexible to help you make the most of your day. Depending on when you visit we may be able to take in things like local festivals, markets, sporting events or whatever else may be 'happening' in the area. Should you wish to stop for food there are many good options along the way; from local restaurants, village pubs, bakeries or farm shops, to fish and chips, supermarkets or even fast food at a service station -whatever suits you best on the day. Unlimited mileage - 10 hours: Experience a full day in the South that could allow you to travel further afield to see Bath, the Cotswolds or Kent.

He was prompt easy to communicate with prior to our trip and offered up many suggestions for future travels to the area! I would definitely book with roadtripz again.. 10/10 service! 5.00Robert is not just a "driver", he is an amazing tour guide. Before booking the service I was a bit apprehensive about being able to tailor our journey to meet our specific sightseeing desires. I was looking for route flexibility with certain destinations in mind, but wanted someone with enough local knowledge to help us see the "real" British countryside. We couldn't be happier...we hit the jackpot with Robert! I calculated that a 6-hour service would be sufficient, but was pleasantly surprised that we were able to see much more than we had planned, including visiting Stonehenge, a couple of museums, and enjoyed a nice lunch in a country pub. When I mentioned that I was a Sherlock Holmes fan, we took a slight detour to visit the final resting place of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, which he had discovered on another trip to the area. Robert is a wealth of information on a variety of topics, a brilliant conversationalist, and a wonderful, down-to-earth person. When we parted it was like leaving an old friend. His deep knowledge of the United Kingdom made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable. The car ride itself was comfortable and relaxing, and Robert went above and beyond by taking us to explore fabulous places and experiences that weren’t even part of our original itinerary. 5.00Robert was amazing. We changed sightseeing places a couple of times before he picked us up. He asked questions about our interests and then suggested some places long the route. We were able to see several villages and parts of the English countryside not many tourists visit, which is exactly how we like to travel. He told us so much history and added personal stories!!

5.00We are so happy we chose Robert for this day. Four of us were in London for three days before heading to Southampton to embark on a cruise. We chose Robert to handle the transfer and some sightseeing along the way. He had a beautiful clean vehicle, With plenty of cargo space for four heavy packing Americans. He was knowledgeable, engaging, gave great recommendations, and a safe driver. By the end of our day together, we felt like he was a friend. We would highly recommend Robert, and we will definitely call him again When we return to the area.

5.00Robert was a very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced guide. He offers suggestions and helps you organize the places to visit to make the most of your time. He gave pre arrival tips that made our more efficient. We used Robert’s service as transportation from London to Southampton cruise port with stops to places we wanted to see along the way. Robert kept us on schedule and navigated around some bad traffic jams to get us our ship on time. We highly recommend Robert and are using him again for transport back to London after our cruise.

5.00What a way to end our trip! At the conclusion of our cruise we wanted transportation from Southampton, a tour of London then a transfer to our hotel. We got so much more than that. Robert was an amazing driver and human being. He personalized our trip to go to places that were in the English countryside. Whenever we mentioned an interest he went out of his way to take us there. We visited small quaint villages and saw the English way of life outside of London. We stopped at a polo field and learned all about the game. We stopped at churches, an old cemetery and at an artist's shop who made beautiful copper furniture. We did get to London and Robert let us out at the iconic spots to take pictures like Buckingham Palace, Princess Diana's Garden and Big Ben etc. He also took our picture crossing the street on Abbey Road, just like the Beatles. The Beatle lover in our group will never forget that. Robert has had a colorful life and he was just the most kind and interesting person. It was also a pleasure to meet his wife, Lizzie. We feel like we made a friend in London. We would highly recommend Robert and Lizzie's company Roadtripz to anyone looking to have an experience they will never forget. Thanks, Robert!

5.00My cousins and I choose to use this particular trip because it was very flexible. Robert is an awesome guide and driver, very personable and knowledgeable about the areas we stopped at. We decided to stop at Windsor for a walk around and photos of the castle. Then headed to Stonehenge (incredible). Robert got us safely and on time to our port In Southampton.
