What To Expect
Mercado de Loule
Inaugurated in June 1908, the Municipal Market of Loulé is one of the best examples of revivalist architecture in the Algarve. You can see the fresh caught fish, fruits, vegetables, typical Algarve sweets and products.
Castelo De Loule
The castle of Arab origin, rebuilt in the XIII century, had a large walled perimeter, part of which is still visible.

5.00Thank you Pedro for the wonderful tour to the Cork Factory. It was a very interesting tour learning about the process from the cork trees to the products that are produced and sold in stores here in Portugal. Pedro was very prompt, very knowledgeable, kind and an extraordinary guide. He acted as our own personal photographer. He took amazing pictures of our adventure ❤️ and sent them to us to remember our awesome tour with him. Highly recommend. We liked him so much we booked another tour with him

5.00We were picked up by our guide, Pedro, in a very smart and comfortable car from our hotel. Arrangements were made in advance for a child seat for our three-year-old, and Pedro kindly had a pushchair in the boot, along with water to keep us hydrated. Pedro was very attentive and informative with a great sense of humour throughout our excursion. We had a wonderful time wandering around the markets, castle and Palace. We also had lunch at a fabulous restaurant in Faro; the food was fresh and delicious, served by wonderful staff, overlooking the waterfront. Pedro cemented our experience with fabulous pictures, which he forwarded to us as a keepsake. Do not hesitate to book. Pedro is very professional, and we very much enjoyed his company and our overall experience.

5.00We had a great day out with Pedro, he collected us from our apartment and tailored the trip to our needs. We went to Loulé in the morning and walked around the town, we visited the market where we met with friends of Pedro and were given samples of produce for sale. We definitely recommend the carrob, fig and rum fudge. Lunch was in an old mill which we never would have found on our own. In the afternoon we asked Pedro to take us to the designer mall outside Loulé rather than visiting the Estoi Palace. We spent a pleasant couple of hours in the air conditioning. If you’re visiting the Algarve we’d highly recommend booking a tour with Pedro for an authentic experience.

5.00My son and I spent a very special day on a private tour to Sevilla with Pedro and it was utterly amazing. We learned so much about the history of both Portugal and Spain. We started the tour with lunch in a historical building that once was a Hamam, the ambiance and food were out of this world. We walked through the beautiful Jewish quarter and then toured the Real Alcazar and then the Spanish Square. It was a spectacular day.

5.00This was a great tour! We got to see all of the amazing sites and the most beautiful market of the Algarve. The museums were really interesting and Pedro went in depth for his explanations. Would really recommend him to anyone looking to come here!

5.00Wow, I cannot sing Pedro's praises highly enough. He was the perfect tour guide and probably the best person who could have shown us around. He was polite, warm, welcoming , accommodating, knowledgeable and most importantly spoke about his country with such pride and passion. He showed us the best of the area and had so much to tell us about the history. Pedro showed us around the old market town of Loule, such a beautiful little place full of culture and history. It was also really lovely visiting the store where the older generation were keeping the traditions of hand weaving alive, it was great to see what amazing things they created by hand. I can also say Pedro was so patient and understanding about my disability (visually impaired), I didn't feel rushed or pressured to move or walk quickly. I also really enjoyed visiting the old moorish spa as they had tactile smaller scale of the building how it used to be and the various spa rooms so I too could feel what my family were seeing on display. Having such great accessibility for visually impaired people just made me feel so included in the experience and was truly wonderful. For our first time in Portugal having a lovely experience with Pedro left us feeling the want and need to come back and explore more of this beautiful country. So brace yourself Pedro and Portugal as we will be back!

5.00We enjoyed a wonderful day trip with Pedro to Loule market and old town and Estoi palace. Pedro perfectly curated the trip and we saw another side to the Algave. Loule is a beautiful old town, steeped in history and it was fascinating to walk round. Estoi palace is a fascinating place with breathtaking views. Thoroughly recommend this trip and Pedro. We will be booking again another excursion when we return.

5.00We had a Fantastic guided tour with Pedro and can't thank him enough for the experience we had. Pedro took us round the local market in Loule where we sampled delicious chocolate made from carob, the market was excellent and had stunning architecture.. A highlight for us was visiting a quirky little Portuguese bar and made to feel very welcome. The barman let us sample some Portuguese liquor for free which was a nice touch. we enjoyed it so much we later bought some Cherry flavour and almond flavoured liquor to take home. We then had a tour of an ancient chapel and a couple of museums. Pedros knowledge made this very interesting as he chatted away to us and made us feel relaxed. The trip to the vineyard was a great way to finish the day. We had 4 different wines with tapas, Pedro lets you have plenty of time to enjoy everything. There's even an amazing swimming pool if you fancy a swim. Pedro went above and beyond he was extremely knowledgeable throughout the tour. The transport was excellent everything run smoothly. He even took us round Faro on our return to the hotel and pointed out another market and supermarket and things were that we found very helpful we visited there the following day. Pedro recommended some restaurants in Faro for us to enjoy my birthday the following day. He also forwarded on some lovely photos that he has taken for us throughout the day. Would highly recommend any trips.

5.00Really enjoyed our visiit to Loulé - the Market, 5th museums, the lovely artisan shops where I bought a woven bag, the views from the Castle,……. Pedro is a great driver with amazing local knowledge. We heard the whole history of Loulé Castle, going back more than 1000 years. Enjoyed our day so much that we booked another tour with Pedro.
