Greg was an incredible tour guide. My family loved it! He was incredibly knowledgeable and a personal delight. My son loves music and Greg knew all the cool spots in Haight-Ashbury . Highly recommend!

Only a moderate amount of walking. Some uphill, so wear appropriate shoes. You might also want to pick the best "off tourist" time to do the tour as Haight-Ashbury can get crowded.

Enjoyable tour, many historical tidbits, and the guide was lively, and kept the interest going for everybody attending. Highly recommended. Especially if you know little about this special neighborhood.

Greg was an excellent tour guide. We appreciate his in-depth knowledge of Haight-Asbury and especially the musical history of the neighborhood in that tumultuous period of the sixties. Great insights, a great conversational style and the walking tour gave us lots to look at. Highly recommended!

We've been on multiple tours, historical, crime and ghost/haunted tours and this was one of the best due to the subject matter and our guide Greg. Greg is the best guide we've toured with. He was informative, fun, and personable. Greg knew his history including the city and more specifically Haight Ashbury area. We enjoyed the extended itinerary, we were the first group to enjoy the 2 hour tour. Greg had some added tour stops which also allowed for a more leisurely pace. Greg's background in radio and music lent itself to the subject as well. He took the time to take pics of the group at the stops as well as sent a video of all our stops on a short video. During the tour we also enjoyed historical photos, video, and audio which added to the experience.

The guided tour offered by Greg is a great experience! After giving us back some elements of history and context of 60s San Francisco, we are immersed in the heart of Summer love in Haigh Ashbury! Greg passed on his passion and knowledge about the musicians, artists, ideals and counterpower movements of the time. During the walk, he gives you little secrets and anecdotes, gives you to see archives and traces still current in the neighborhood, all this embellished with some extracts of mythical pieces. I will not reveal you more, do not hesitate, follow the guide!

Greg was a fantastic guide as he shared the music and characters of the late 60s in this area. Not only was he knowledgeable and fun, but his innovative use of video and sound was the best we'd ever seen. I would definitely recommend this tour and can't wait to experience his Hidden Staircases of SF on our next trip. Thanks Greg!

The guide Greg was very informational on the trip. He took time out for each and every member of our group. Checked in with the group multiple times to make sure everyone was doing OK. Learned the history of San Francisco and Haight Ashbury area. Made recommendations for our stay in the area. Very descriptive and at a very good pace. Would highly recommend.

Craig is great, friendly and fun tour guide. Content was not just the typical, knowledge, he covers some behind the scenes people you probably never heard of.
