5.00This is an absolute must for both a cultural and performance arts experience. The whole cast was fantastic and the show was phenomenal. The unique after show experience was also unique and very interactive and memorable. Would highly recommended this to anyone in Luang Prabang.

5.00Before we went to the Opera House, we were welcomed by the beautifully dressed dancers. After the dance, a green branch was dipped in a water bowl and our hand was wetted with it. We were enchanted by the varied and very beautiful dances with a very beautiful splendor of colours and beautiful music accompaniment. Picking up from the hotel and returning to the hotel in a tuk-tuk worked flawlessly.

5.00The Buddhist Light Show is an experience that should not be missed. They warmly welcome you into the theater for a spectacular show consisting of several acts. The large cast and beautiful costumes enhanced the experience. It is the perfect after-dinner show to top off a wonderful trip to Laos.

5.00Fabulous show, well worth seeing. I booked on the afternoon of the show with no problem at all. Unfortunately it wasn't crowded which is a real shame, not that I want it to be crowded but it would be good for the performers as they deserve to be watched. The light show is awesome, the dancing and the costumes WOW. I paid for a VIP ticket which gave me 2nd row right in the middle, the seats are arranged so that you have no-one directly in front blocking your view. It's too far to walk from the centre of town so you need to get a tuk tuk of taxi and some of them have no idea where the International Opera House so be prepared with directions. My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, is that the English descriptions/translations were at each side of the stage and it was hard to read and watch the show at the same time. I recommend this show to anyone visiting Luang Prabang.

The music paired perfectly with the lights, enhancing the whole vibe. It was an unforgettable evening, showcasing the beauty and depth of Lao culture.
