1.00I took this tour in early April 2026 as a guest of another family. The walking tour was fine but I don't believe the price that we paid matched the experience that we received, even for Switzerland.

1.00The walking tour portion of the experience was fine, but could be improved with some sort of audio system so everyone could hear the guide. The tour specifies a maximum of 8 people and we had 9. Even with only 9 people on our tour it was often difficult to hear. The boat “tour” portion wasn’t a tour at all, but rather a ticket to a round trip boat ride from Lucerne harbor to Bürgenstock. The guide does not go with to provide information about things around the lake. The main image representing this tour is not even what the boat looks like. The beer/wine and snacks portion was very minimal and not close to worth the extra money spent. Skip It.

5.00Perfect tour for an overview of Lucerne. My guide, Florence, was delightful! Exactly what I wanted for my first afternoon. I spent another three days in Lucerne on my own, and my overview tour gave me the "lay of the land" so I could wander about the city. Florence, a Lucerne resident, answered all my questions about the city and Switzerland. I highly recommend the experience to other travelers, especially solo travelers.

4.00Good tour. Small city so this tour covers the major sights. Then you go on a 1 hour round trip boat ride on Lake Lucerne. The boat ride is nice but with no guide you have to interpert and google yourself. Still overall a good tour.

5.00Isabella was the guide. It was a two hour walking tour of Lucerne plus a one hour boat trip around the Lake. Isabella was a very personable, extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide. She clearly loves her city and enjoys her job. As a result, we had a very positive experience.
