This amazing 2.5-hour horseback tour will take you across the crystal clear waters of the Mameyes River, through a tropical forest and along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean at Luquillo Beach. Enjoy an incredible adventure, a change of pace and scenery. All levels of riders are welcome to participate.

Carabali Rainforest Adventure Park
Enjoy incredible views and experience the stunning flora and fauna of this unique ecosystem as you explore it on horseback. This tour departs from Carabalí Rainforest Park and takes you into the foothills of El Yunque National Forest. Our extraordinary horseback ride takes you alongside Mameyes River, whose fresh clear waters are perfect for cooling off during the half-hour swimming and refreshments break in the two-hour tour. We give you a lesson in horseback riding, including safety rules and regulations, before departing. Our experienced staff determines the appropriate horse for you in accordance with weight, height, and experience.

5.00My friend and I booked the 2.5-hour horseback riding tour, and our guide, Irvin, made the experience absolutely unforgettable. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. He was knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, professional, and genuinely fun to spend time with throughout the ride. As a first-time rider, I was a little nervous going in, but Irvin made me feel completely safe and comfortable from start to finish. He gave clear instructions, checked in regularly, and made sure everyone felt confident on their horses. The horses themselves were calm, well-cared-for, and comfortable to ride. The tour itself was incredible. We rode through beautiful jungle trails before emerging at the ocean, which was one of the most breathtaking and freeing experiences I’ve had. Along the way, Irvin shared insights about Puerto Rico, its culture, and the local area, which made the experience even more meaningful. We stopped at a lovely beachfront restaurant where we enjoyed lunch (the fish and chips were great!) and had time to swim in the ocean, so definitely bring a swimsuit if you’re considering this tour. Afterward, we rode back through the jungle, taking in even more stunning scenery. This was genuinely one of the highlights of my entire trip to Puerto Rico and an experience I’ll remember for years!!

5.00I almost didn’t do this excursion because I was absolutely terrified. I’ve never been completely comfortable around horses, and the thought of riding such a large, unpredictable animal had me feeling extremely anxious and emotional before we even started. Thankfully, Don Q took the time to encourage me and reassure me that I would be in good hands. He paired me with Jonathan, and I truly cannot thank him enough. From the moment we started, Jonathan was patient, kind, and incredibly reassuring. He stayed close to me throughout the ride, checked on me constantly, answered all of my questions, and helped me stay calm whenever my nerves started to get the best of me. I never felt rushed, judged, or unsafe. His calm energy made all the difference. Because of Jonathan, I was able to relax, enjoy the experience, and make it all the way to the beach. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the beach itself was beautiful. We took amazing photos, enjoyed the sunshine, and afterward I even stopped by the bar for drinks and got to soak in the entire experience. What started as one of the most nerve-wracking things I’ve ever done turned into one of the highlights of my trip. I’m so grateful I pushed through my fear. I left with beautiful pictures, unforgettable memories, and a sense of accomplishment that I’ll never forget. Thank you, Jonathan, for your patience, kindness, and for helping me create such a special memory. You truly made this experience unforgettable! ❤️🐎🌴☀️

5.00Gio was amazing he gave my friend a flower and for her hair and made the whole experience for her first time in Puerto Rico amazing. He was fun and charming and made sure we were safe the whole time. The pictures he also took were amazing and he truly made my friend vision for her video come true. Alex was a great leader a made sure to keep everyone as safe as possible. They were both charming and there wits were amazing couldn’t have asked for better tour guides
