Your luxury Safari experience starts with a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River in the National Park, one of the highlights of the trip as you will have the opportunity to get up close to some fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles and scores of elephants and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. After a delicious lunch at Coffee Buzz restaurant, you return to the park in one of our customised 4x4 game viewers for an afternoon game drive, making your way slowly to our private Luxury camp setup. This is the best time to see Chobe National Park’s large herbivores coming down to the river to drink. Make our way to camp shortly after a Sundowner , whether it’s a Gin and Tonic or glass of wine and snacks and take in the magic of the African Sunsets. Return to camp for dinner and a chat around the campfire. After some hearty bush cuisine, you can listen to the sounds of the bush around you as you lie in bed in your ensuite tent and drift off to sleep.

Chobe National Park
We wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day), and after light breakfast, we head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding predators, as they are still active, and chances of seeing them are best. As the day heats up, we return to Camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to read, rest, or take a refreshing shower. When the day starts to cool off, guests are provided with afternoon high tea and another afternoon game drive. Good sightings are revisited, or areas yet traversed are explored. Return to Camp after sundowners for a reflective fireside chat. A hearty three course bush dinner follows, prepared by our expert bush chef in camp, as always, accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast

LUNCH

Brunch in the camp site
Chobe National Park
On your last day, we will have a light early breakfast after awakening. Straight after start our game drive to experience the mystery of the night, see what tracks or predators we are able to spot during the sun arises. We will then return to Camp for a delicious “bush brunch” , pack and leave the campsite, this is our last game drive out of the park for a final Chobe River boat cruise. The afternoon boat cruise is so different to the morning boat cruise. The crocodiles tend to lay on the riverbank to sunbath, the birds are busy finding their pray, the hippos might be out of the river to warm up, the elephants crossing the river with their babies. It is just a spectacular end of your 3 day safari.

What an incredible experience, our guide Tizah was the best, he tracked a leopard and we saw him, so knowledgable and funny, couldn't believe we had 3 staff to look after just us, we felt so spoilt. The animals at Chobe were increduble, we saw over 300 elephants in one afternoon, food, drinks, everything was wonderful. Kalahari Tours are so professional and friendly, I would recommend this to anyone wanta real bush experience with a bit of luxury

We just returned from an amazing experience with Kalahari Tours! It surpassed every expectation. First, our guide Axe, was fantastic as were the three men in charge of our food and camp. We felt safe, cared for, ate incredibly well and enjoyed every minute. We saw all the animals we wanted to see on the game drives and boat tours except a male lion - but Axe did everything he could to find one. I would highly recommend Kalahri tours and am already trying to figure out how I can return with my family!

We just came back from a 3 day /2 night camping safari and it was great. Camping in the park is best because you get deeper into the park than day trippers. The 3 hosts really made the trip great. The guide, Lance was very experienced, informative and loves Botswana as much as anybody. Misak organized the camp, Ponso cooked and everything was perfect. Comfortable cots in the tents, great food and a nice welcoming Camp fire when we returned each evening. Ice cold beer and drinks on hand at all times. We saw 13 lions, probably 1000 elephants, hundreds of giraffes and Kudus, many hippos and Cape Buffalo. We'll never forget this trip.
