Then Killarney Guided Tours' 4 days of luxury, taking you from Cork to Killarney to Galway (or Limerick) is for you! Taking advantage of the easy Irish rail system, you simply take the train from Dublin to Cork, Kent Station, where Killarney Guided Tours be waiting. We'll be on our way in elegance to Killarney with stops all along the way. After three overnights in Killarney, and two full day tours, its off to the Cliffs of Moher enroute to Galway where you can overnight or continue onward to Dublin via train. This chauffeured tour takes you to some of the most beautiful places in the South of Ireland and can be easily reversed. An ideal tour package for those arriving/departing from Dublin, but wanting to see a little more of iconic Ireland.

Having departed Dublin's Heuston Rail Station, upon arrival in Mallow Train your private guide/driver will be waiting. You'll tour in luxurious comfort to Blarney Castle & Wollen Mills Overnight Killarney. This private 4 day tour, like all of Killarney Guided Tours', is always "Your Tour - Your Trail" start to finish. Rest assured, your guide/driver will consider your unique interests so the days are at a pace which suits you best. Always included is your Failte Ireland qualified guide/driver and our executive class Mercedes touring van or sedan, depending on number of guests in your private party. To provide you the very best, touring experience available, each premium vehicle is of a standard unmatched by rental class vans or cars often offered by tour providers. Day 4, your final day with Killarney Guided Tours, will encompass a scenic drive from Killarney to Galway (or Limerick) with time to take in the infamous Cliffs of Moher. End location at the doorstep of the Galway (or Limerick) Rail station to allow you to continue your return journey to Dublin via reliable Irish rail. With advance notice and at an additional cost, we can also arrange for other pick-up/drop-off locations, or private transfer back to Dublin. As always, the weather can be a possible issue when planning your Irish Adventure with us. However, we'll make our absolute best effort to ensure each day of your tour is all you hoped for rain or shine!

From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with such warmth and ease that we felt more like old friends than visitors. Each day was perfectly balanced—thoughtfully planned yet never rushed. We stood before breathtaking waterfalls, wandered through postcard-perfect countryside, and explored castles that seemed to echo with centuries of history. Gerard’s storytelling brought every place to life, blending past and present in a way that made Ireland feel deeply personal. One of the most memorable moments was a stop for a “proper” Irish coffee—warm, rich, and shared with laughter. It captured the spirit of the trip in a single, perfect pause. Gerard’s kindness, knowledge, and effortless way about him made every moment special. From his expert driving on winding roads to his incredible dining recommendations, everything felt seamless and authentic. This wasn’t just a tour—it was an experience we’ll always carry with us. Five stars hardly feel like enough.

5.00My husband and I worked with Gerard to plan a custom 3 day tour from Galway down to Killarney, Dingle and Kilkenny. We had lots to see and do. He is knowledgeable, warm, professional and fun to be with. We enjoyed his suggestions for stops at the chocolate factory and sheep herding experience in addition to the well known tourist stops. His suggestions for pubs and music added to our adventure. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our time learning and laughing together. Do not hesitate to hire Gerard and Killarney Guided Tours. We highly recommend this true Irish Ambassador!

5.00Ireland - breathtakingly beautiful and variable in all the many areas we were able to visit! Gerard was instrumental in efficiently transporting us each day in comfort and always with engaging conversation as he shared his vast knowledge of his country’s history, geography, culture and its people with apparent joy. He made sure to adapt our tour to our personal interests and found unique locations where he clearly had relationship with the locals. We learned so much and we have so many memories that would not have been possible without his expert guidance.We will recommend him to anyone who wants to tour Ireland. 5.00Annie was a fabulous guide for my son and I! She was so thoughtful in determining what we’d like to see and making sure we had the experiences we’d hoped for! She was so knowledgeable about the history of Ireland, its traditions and past times and was so personable (extremely important for this type of trip). She went above and beyond (brought me gloves for the chilly days) and had excellent dining and shopping recommendations. I feel I’ll be disappointed by other tours going forward!!

5.00What a fantastic way to see Western Ireland! Our trip was planned around a 5-day woodturning course a number of us attended prior to this trip. Our travel agent recommended this tour. Not being a fan of large bus tours, this was the perfect alternative to driving ourselves. Our tour guide Garrard was very flexible. He picked us up in Kilkenny and started the tour from there. We headed to Cork and Blarney Castle. When we arrived and saw the crowds we decided this was not the place for us. Garrard called an audible and took us to a small town where we had a nice quiet lunch outside! We also decided to avoid the busy visitors center at the Cliffs of Moher, so Garrard found another spot - we were the only tourists there - to get a beautiful view of the cliffs. We were taken to a bog, the Burren, and other out of the way places to avoid the crowds and get a feel for the small towns and get a feel for the real Ireland. We also enjoyed the main attractions such as the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. In Killarney we visited the Muckross house where Garrard took us on a walk around the area as well as a hike into the woods and a grand view of Muckross lake. In total we hiked about 7 miles. Absolutely wonderful! I would truly love to visit Ireland again and would certainly contact Garrard for another four day tour!

5.00Our small group had a grand 4-day experience touring southern and western Ireland with Gerard as our driver and guide. Very knowledgeable about the country and its history. A kind, good-humored man. The vehicle was new and clean and comfortable. I believe we saw more of the real Ireland than most visitors. Strongly recommend this service for a true Ireland experience.

5.00Gerard made Ireland come to life for our family!!! We visited Killarney, Cobh, Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Cliffs of Mother/Burren, Connemara and Galway. Every stop was breathtakingly beautiful. Gerard carefully curated our trip based on what our family was interested in - site seeing/landscape, churches/castles, animals and FOOD! Gerard played Irish music and told us stories about Irish history and tradition making each stop even more meaningful. We even got to stop and meet some distant relatives along the way! We wouldn't change a thing about our trip and would not have had nearly the same experience without Gerard. Would recommend this tour to everyone!
