Point-to-point transfer from/to airport to/from Kowloon, Hong Kong Island or New Territories. 1. After receiving client's booking, we will reconfirm the booking details with client. 2. Driver's contact will be given once available (usually 3-4 hours prior to service). 3. For transfer from airport, the meeting point in HKIA is Carpark 1. For transfer to airport, please provide the detailed meeting location in advance. 4. If client has problem with meeting driver, please call our 24/7 cs hotline +852 25445550. 5.00My Journey from Pazhou to Hong Kong Airport I discovered that there is a ferry service from Pazhou to Hong Kong Airport, but it is exclusively available for passengers flying with certain airlines that have partnered with the ferry service. A list of these airlines can easily be found online. Unfortunately, since my flight from Hong Kong to Delhi was with Indigo Airlines, I was unable to purchase a ferry ticket. This left me with three alternatives: taking a regular train, the Airport Express train, or traveling by bus. For both the regular and Airport Express trains, I needed to take a taxi to Guangzhou South Railway Station, which is where the trains depart. The regular train takes approximately 2.5 hours, so it’s advisable to check the schedule to align with your plans. The Airport Express train, on the other hand, takes about one hour and costs RMB 225. However, it only takes you to Kowloon Station in Hong Kong, meaning I would have to take another taxi to the airport, costing around RMB 250. It’s essential to verify the train schedules to ensure they match your flight times. Considering my flight was at 15:35 and I had the entire morning free, I opted for the bus instead. This choice allowed me to enjoy the scenic road journey. I took a taxi from my hotel in Tianhe at 6:30 AM and arrived at Hotel Yingbin in the Yuexiu district, where the bus to Hong Kong Airport departs. (There are other hotels from which buses also depart; schedules and starting points can be found online.) The taxi ride took about 30 minutes. The first bus departs at 7:30 AM, and I arrived at 7:00 AM. The ticket counter opened at 7:00 AM, and I purchased my ticket for the first bus for RMB 200. I was informed that once we reached the Shenzhen Bay area, we would transfer to a 7-seater car that would take us to the airport. Clear written instructions were provided to each passenger. At precisely 7:30 AM, the bus departed. After approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, we arrived at the transfer point where we boarded the 7-seater car with our luggage. In the next 10 minutes, we reached the China immigration point, where all passengers disembarked to go through the exit immigration. Our luggage remained in the car, which crossed the border to pick us up on the other side of the immigration building. In another 5 minutes, we arrived at the Hong Kong arrival immigration checkpoint, where the driver handed over everyone’s passports and pre-arrival permits to the immigration officer. After about 5 minutes, we were each issued a 15-day visa slip for Hong Kong along with our passports. The entire process of transferring to the car and completing the immigration formalities took about 1 hour, including waiting times. After another 45 minutes on the road, we finally reached Hong Kong Airport. In total, my journey from the bus departure point to the airport took approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
