We were completely disappointed at this tour. We landed only one island although tour shows 3islands hopping. The entire duration was much shorter than we expected. (Tour shows 6h , but actually 4h.

The description is misleading its not 1 hour on each island to explore and it’s not a bbq lunch. One island you can’t get off and just do some snorkelling near it (average fish viewing). The next one is so small you can only sit for an hour and do nothing - the snorkelling is off the pier not the boat but there are a lot of fish there. I bought a fresh pineapple juice which came from a tin of blended tinned pineapples! The last island you have to pay extra to get a small boat if you want to spend time on it - worth doing as the beach is lovely but again not much there so you just sit there for an hour / walk along the beach. Our boat was old, engine incredibly noisy and it kept breaking down so we had to stop while they fixed it. The guide didn’t really do much “guiding” either. I Didn’t eat the rice/meat as it was pre cooked and then left out in the sun for hours before we were told to tuck in! One bottle of water provided per person in 6 hours. Would not recommend. Other tours we saw had music on the boat and they looked more modern and the people were having a great time.

Warning about this company. We booked a private island-hopping tour, but the experience was very poor. The tour started with a minor collision with another boat. Although we understand that accidents can happen, the rest of the day was badly organized and we received no information from the crew. We were left waiting for hours on an island, the food was cold and poorly handled, and the boat eventually ran out of fuel, leaving us drifting at sea until a stranger helped. A frightening experience, and we do not recommend this company. We have had very good experiences with similar island-hopping tours in the Philippines with other operators, which shows that this type of tour can be well organized when handled professionally.

In terms of snorkling this tour has little interest, as the reef is gray and with little life, but still can be an interesting tour. On the first island there are few fish. On the second island there are many fish, as the guides throw food into the water. The third island is only for lunch, but allows to talk to the inhabitants. As for the tour operator: The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but there were three problems. First, the 8:00 tour only started at 9:00. The company may claim that some participants were delayed, but this only justifies 20 minutes of total delay. Also, I don't think it's right to force everyone to wait for people who are late. The second problem is the noise of the boat engine, which some reviews refer to. It's actually very loud, it's impossible to talk while the boat moves. The third problem is the driver’s driving of the van, something also mentioned in some reviews. Drive too fast, with sudden accelerations and continuous direction changes. It is totally inappropriate for the traffic from Cebu, and very uncomfortable for those on vacation, who want to rest and relieve this stress.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Outstanding Island Hopping Experience! The Mactan Cebu Island Hopping tour with stops at Gilutungan, Caohagan, and Nalusuan was simply fantastic! The trip was well-organized, the islands were breathtakingly beautiful, and the lunch was delicious – fresh, plentiful, and perfect after swimming and snorkeling. A special thanks to our tour guide Abam. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure we felt comfortable at all times. The boat crew was also amazing – attentive, professional, and always in great spirits. You could really see their experience and passion. I can highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable day out on the water. I would book it again in a heartbeat! 🌴🐠

Terrible experience on Cebu Mactan Islans hopping. We are supposed to visit three islands and we did two. First island I snorkeled was full of floating trash, plastic bags , clothing articles, soda cans were all around me. Some plastic bags I thought look like jelly fish. I got bitten with sea lice in my leg and arms. The snorkel equipment was in terrible condition. They didn’t provide a lens cleaner to prevent from fogging your snorkel mask. I had to use soap on the second island to clean the snorkel mask. Lunch was not enough for the five of us. They had catered lunch but it was really meant for me and my wife. We felt bad because they had mostly a lot of rice and not much else for the rest of the crew. I would say our overall experience with Cebu Tours is terrible and I would not recommend anyone to sign up for an irresponsible tour operator like Cebu Tours.

Very disappointing and unsafe experience. The pickup driver was angry because some people were late and drove very recklessly. The boat ride was already rough due to bad weather, but the boat driver made it worse by speeding dangerously. There was also a gap in the boat roof so water and wind kept coming inside, making everyone soaked and uncomfortable. We were even forced to eat lunch while the boat was moving in rough waters, which was unsafe and made people feel sick. At the last island, they anchored the boat far from the shore and forced us to walk through deep water while carrying our bags. Safety was ignored at every step. AVOID THIS TOUR AND AGENCY AT ANY COST!

We (party of 2) had the most incredible day exploring the islands around Cebu with Cebu Tours, and we can’t recommend them enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, joyful, and filled with beauty. Our tour guide Raffy was an absolute gem—friendly and went above and beyond by capturing amazing photos and videos of us without us even asking. The boat was expertly navigated by Captain Jay, and John, our boat crewman, was attentive and kind throughout the journey. 🍽️ The food was fantastic—a delicious spread of chicken, pork skewers, fish, rice, shrimp, mussels, banana, and refreshing water. It was the perfect fuel for a day of adventure. 🏝️ Each island had its own charm, but Nalusuan Island stole our heart. The snorkeling there was magical—shallow waters teeming with vibrant fish in a protected sanctuary. It’s easy to see why this place is so special. We also added Pandanon Island, which offered stunning photo spots and a peaceful vibe that made for a perfect end to the tour. ✅ A Note on Tipping The crew works incredibly hard to make these tours unforgettable, often earning just $10 for an ENTIRE DAY. In comparison, minimum wages in places like California, Korea, and Japan range from $10 to $20 PER HOUR. No matter where you're from, please consider tipping generously. It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference in supporting the kind, hardworking locals who make this experience so special. Please remember to tip them. Thank you, Cebu Tours, Raffy, Jay, and John, for a day we’ll never forget. 🌞🐠📸 P.S. I will rewrite my review in both Japanese and Korean as well.
