The tour was fairly well organised and in line with the description. The time on each stop was appropriate, the lunch provided was tasty, and our captain was nice. Things to know: - The tour starts from Cordova (southern tip of Mactan Island) which is far from most hotels (30 minutes' drive from the Shangri-La) - The crew speaks very little English, so do not expect a lot of explanation - Bring your own snorkelling equipment: the one provided is low quality - At the first stop, a fisherman/lifeguard (?) oversold us on fresh seafood. Just skip it, not worth it.

The outcome is what we expected. Hope to have a little more introductions and guides to the islands.

It was good communication before the trip. Having needed to be cancelled due to not enough numbers. Went the next day. Pick up was a little late but understandable due to traffic etc. the tour it self was okay, yes the boat was extremely loud but brought ear plugs as others had said it was loud. Water shoes would be great…. As getting to one of the islands means walking through the water. Snorkelling was fantastic, I would recommend bringing your own gear for better experience… life jackets are available for those that are not confident swimmers. Don’t expect the guide to guide … received minimal explanation of where we were and what was happening… the guide didn’t even get into the water to show or point out some of the more interesting fish … which would have been great for the less advanced snorkellers … Island stops were a bit random … Nalusuan and Caohagan islands no explanation about island … that would have been nice. Lunch was good - but wasn’t cooked on the boat at the time - that would have been better Yes there is some selling on the islands and from the boats - this is how some make their income don’t be afraid to haggle … 200 peso for coconut is too much.

Unfortunately, this tour was a major disappointment and not worth the price. Around 90% of the trip was spent traveling. The boat was extremely loud and in poor condition, making the journey uncomfortable. Due to strong waves, snorkeling was only possible for a very short time. The trip to the island took almost two hours each way, not one hour as advertised. We stayed on the island for only one hour instead of the promised two hours. Because of the late return at 5:00 PM, I missed another tour that I had already planned and paid for. The tour also mentioned water or soft drinks, but no choice was given — only plain water was provided. Overall, the experience did not match the description and was far from worth the money. I would not recommend this tour unless major improvements are made.

This tour was a disappointment. We went snorkeling at the first location, where there was very little to see. I was bitten by sea lice and my husband by a jellyfish. We were told it would not have been a box jellyfish, although we were also told that box jellyfish are in the water, which raises the question of why wetsuits aren’t provided. Similar to another guest in December, the food, including cooked prawns and rice, sat out for around five hours before being offered for lunch. So much for ‘reviewing their procedures’. The guide was friendly and shared some local history, but did not actually guide us during the tour. I would not recommend this tour at all. At best, there is very little value in the experience, and at worst, there is a real risk of food poisoning or jellyfish stings.

Cebu Tours delivered the island hopping itinerary as promised. Everything was properly organised. Cebu Tours passed me the details of the tour (time to meet, driver's name and contact number) the evening before the tour. The driver cum guide, Melchor, also messaged me to reconfirm the time and place to meet. He was customer-centric. The boatman and his assistants were helpful and exercised safety precautions. Nice, simple lunch in the boat.

My sister and I had a great time! We got to do snorkeling at each of the islands and everyone working the boat was very friendly. The lunch was really good too and we were able to buy some interesting local seafood and they cooked it up with lunch!

Very big group, not very organised, driver picked up 1 hour late with no notice given, had to wait, then didn't speak much English and didn't tell much where we were going next. But overall still had a good time on the islands. Best to go on island hopping with local providers instead.

We are lucky to be the only 4 guests on this trip which made it flexible and relaxing for us. The staff was very professional and helpful. They really make an effort to look after us and our kids. The lunch was alright it was chicken Filipino style, and mussels with corn and shrimp, and then rice and bananas. The captain also sold us some fresh shell fish which they grilled for us on top of the meal. All in all we felt very well looked after
