We have combined the best Madeira Wine tasting tour in Funchal. The Blandy's wine tour is the best wine experience in Madeira and you'll be taken around the famous wine lodge understanding the history and end up tasting some of the best Madeira wines. (The tour is available also in Spanish, German, Portugese, French, please let us know when booking as these tours are different timings).
Option 2 is to combine the Wine tasting with an additional stop to enjoy the best cheeses from a boutique independent cheese shop a few minutes away, so this way you get to experience 3 of the tastiest cheese from portugal with an additional glass of wine (they even have pineapple wine).
Option 3 is that you can combine the Madeira wine tour with our very popular Foodie Tour (5 additional stops), to try some amazing tapas, cheeses, pastries and complete the gastronomic day.

What To Expect
Blandy's Wine Lodge
The guided tour of Blandy's Wine Lodge is available from Monday to Saturday, and are suitable for visitors with various levels of wine knowledge, as well as visitors with children. All the tours are accompanied by brand ambassadors, who will walk you through the different areas of the Wine Lodge, share secrets of Madeira wine production and offer a wine tasting at the end of the visit. If you choose the cheese tasting option, after the tour we take you to an artisan cheese shop for a cheese tasting and wine experience. If you choose the Tapas tour we will include 6 more foodie stops for you to enjoy. The tour's are available in Portuguese, English, German, French and Spanish languages.

5.00The combination of the tours worked well. The cheese shop was busy and it would have been good to understand a bit more about the cheeses. The wine tour was informative and the wine tasting went on for hours as you were never expected to leave!!

5.00Blandys wine lodge was good but the most enjoyable part for myself and daughter was the cheese and wine after where we went to a local cheese shop. That part was the most special. Very relaxed and we had a personal visit from the owner of Maderia Foodies who checked that our trip had gone well and was most helpful with other suggestions for places to eat during our stay.
