Explore the renowned neighborhood of Chueca, the beating heart of the LGBTQ+ community, during this 3 hour food tour. This tour is heavy on the food and drinks with a splash of queer history.
Chueca, located in central Madrid, is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood known for its lively atmosphere, LGBTQ+ community, trendy bars, cafes and boutiques. Its narrow streets are adorned with colorful facades, and it hosts cultural events, including the annual Pride celebrations, making it a hub of inclusivity and excitement. Visit 4 tapas bars and restaurants (including one market) with 7+ tapas and 4 drinks included. In addition to learning about Spanish food and wine, we'll also cover some of the neighborhood's LGBT+ history. We'll also give you tips on additional restaurants, bars and clubs to visit so you can make the most of your trip.
This tour is open to all guests, whether straight allies or members of the LGBTQ+ community. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

What To Expect
Plaza de Chueca
Start the tour by meeting your local gay guide at Plaza Chueca where you'll learn a bit of the neighborhood's history. Then you'll walk a short distance to the first tapas bar for a drink and a bite.
Enjoy a drink and a tasty tapa or two at this first local bar. Your guide will explain each item as you enjoy them.

5.00My partner and I were really excited to experience this tapas tour, and it was absolutely worth it! Enrique was a fantastic guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Madrid’s food, history, and culture. We loved the opportunity to visit local restaurants and hidden gems, sampling delicious dishes and drinks that were unique to the area. The historical insights Enrique shared added so much value. It was fascinating to learn about the history of Chueca and what makes this neighborhood so special. This tour was truly a highlight of our trip!

5.00We booked the tapas tour for the final evening of our Spanish vacation, and it was a wonderful way to wrap up our trip. Enrique was a friendly, professional guide, and we were lucky enough to have him to ourselves. I have some dietary restrictions and specific preferences, and Enrique adapted the evening to give us both a delicious experience. He took us to several locations of LGBTQ+ interest, answered our many questions, and provided an entertaining and fascinating walk around Chueca. I highly recommend this tour; in retrospect, I would have done it at the beginning of our stay, because Enrique pointed out several spots that we're going to have to check out on our next visit to Madrid.

5.00This was our first trip with Two Bad Tourists. We really enjoyed it! I usually do all the travel planning for all our trips. It was sooo nice to let someone else take care of the planning! We just showed up and enjoyed ourselves! We had a great group of people. A mix of young and old, single and couples. It was nice. Some people decided to go out partying in the clubs. Some of us (old married folks) just headed back to the hotel after dinner and had drinks in the lobby together. Everyone was free to do what ever they wanted. No pressure - just laid back and easy.

5.00This was one of the best vacations I have ever been on. Auston, David, Richard and Megan were so welcoming that I felt at ease from the second I arrived in Spain. As I had stated to the group, I stepped out of my comfort zone by traveling overseas as a solo traveler, even though my friend Ross booked later on as well. The dinners, tours, bar crawling, museums and just plain old-fashioned fun with an amazing group of men form different regions of the country and Canada could not be replicated if I tried. I would recommend Two Bad Tourists to anyone who wants to have an incredible time traveling. I look forward to my next adventure with them in the future. Thanks again for making my vacation spectacular!!! If I could change one thing I would rename the company to Two Amazing Bad Tourists. Billy

5.00We had the best time with out guide Enrique! He was welcoming, funny, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand what we were interested in seeing and learning about. We saw some really cool places we would surely have missed on our own. After the tour, Enrique went out of his way to walk us to our next destination which was out of his way. This tour is a MUST!
