• 7:00 – Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter or Ninh Binh (08:00 – 08:30). Expect a 3,5 hours drive to Mai Chau. • Arrive in Mai Chau which is considered the capital of the Thai people. Have lunch in the traditional house with specialties of the Northwest mountains. Take a small rest to relax or a quick walk in the narrow alleys to admire the local life. • Start the Cycling tour to discover the beautiful Mai Chau valley. You will pass through fields and villages and get the opportunity to discover more about the unique cultural activities of the White Thai ethnic group. Take a break to visit brocade production facilities made by locals. You are welcome to visit the shops and to buy souvenirs from this unique place. • Your next destination is Chieu Cave also known as the Thousand Steps Cave. From the foot of the mountain, you will climb to reach the mountain’s peak from where you can enjoy the fantastic view of Mai Chau valley. • Back to homestay & have some teabreak.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve
• 17:00 – Take the car to Pu Luong. • 18:30 Arrival at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy Dinner and relax in the Hotel.
Pu luong: Trekking Village, Silk weaving, Waterwheels, Rafting, Floating Lunch and back to Ha Noi or Ninh Binh

08:00 -08:30 AM: We'll pick you up at your hotel, your guide will pick you up and take you to Lan Village through rice fields and mountains. Visit a Thai household, see silk weaving from cocoon to textile, and try weaving your own silk. • Next, Chieng Lau Village, where you'll witness traditional farming practices and the ancient waterwheels in action. • 10:00 AM: Set out on a scenic 4km trek from Chieng Lau to Cham Stream. Along the way, stop at a traditional local house to experience genuine hospitality and immerse yourself in the region's culture. • 10:45 AM: Arrive at Cham Stream for a Bamboo rafting adventure. Relax as you float through lush forests, rice fields, and charming villages. (Bring a swimsuit and towel). • 11:30: Enjoy a delicious lunch on the boat • 13:00 – 13:30: Say goodbye to the fabulous Pu Luong Nature Reserve and Take the bus back to Ha Noi or Ninh Binh. • 18:30 – 19:00: Arrival at your Hotel in Ha Noi. Or 17:00 – 17:30: Arrival at your Hotel in Ninh Binh.

5.00I found Divi Travel good and easy to work with and a main reason for that is they kept me updated with pick-up and drop off times as I am a lone traveller and those on the group tour stayed at different hotels/resorts. Our guide Lien did an excellent job as she lives in Mai Chau and knows the history and culture of the area. I was happy with the tour and can recommend it.

5.00I really enjoyed seeing the rurale areas of Vietnam with rice fields, water wheels, and beautiful nature. Our guide Lien was really nice. We saw a lot but it never felt hurried. Highly recommended!

5.00Very nice and varied cultural tour with Lila as guide. Learned about the customs and lifestyle of the many settlements in and around Phu Long. Isolated populations that are self-sufficient and have nature beliefs. Overall great and especially the second day with lunch on the raft tour. Rarely beautiful nature and delicious freshly prepared meal

Nice scenery. Experienced the Cultural Heritage of the people in Be Tre Ca Doc. Good lunch on the boat rides.

5.00Amazing trip! Our guides (Vin and Nga) were amazing, chill, knowledgeable and super friendly. We got to visit local homes, had tea and rice wine in their kitchens. Walked and biked through rice fields and villages.
Regret for only staying 2 days in these beautiful places.

5.00At First day, weather wasnt on our side. It was fully cloudy. But Our Guide make that day awesome and interesting. Although We came from same terrain, but we find many interesting things and knowing many things about long house. At second day, We enjoyed alot and make our day best. We got chance to visit local market and talk with local people and chance to obtain lifestyle of those lovely people. And the best part was to visit village and do bamboo boating, and try local food taste. At last, I have only one regret, I have to go there for more than 2 days rather staying there 2 days.
