What To Expect
Malindi Museum
Silaa Safaris offers you opportunity to view Malindi museum which was built towards the end of the 19th century as it is built in the typical style fashionable during this era, especially in the old towns of Lamu and Mombasa. The building, known as the column house, is a charming, double storey structure, with a tiled roof. In May 2004 the building opened its doors to the general public as Malindi Museum. The museum features temporary exhibits including the famous Malindi Coelacanth. The museum also contains artifacts related to the explorer Vasco da Gama. The museum also has exhibits from the Portuguese period of Kenya's coastal zone, as well as photographs of some of the country's archaeological sites.

Silaa Safaris offers you the opportunity to visit Falconry has snakes, a giant tortoise, and crocodiles; as well as birds, mostly hawks and owls which are allowed to "free fly". you will guided around the ZOO and more explanations about different species done to every visitor.

5.00My trip to mombasa city tour was organised well by silaasafaris starting point at malindi. We visited forty Jesus in mombasa take walks along old of mombasa pass through spice market and ended our trip with doing a night life in nyali area.i personal highly recommend silaasafaris

5.00We had an absolutely amazing full-day tour in Malindi with Silaa Safaris – it was the highlight of our trip! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, informative, and family-friendly. Our guide was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and professional, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. We started our day with a visit to the iconic Vasco da Gama Pillar, where he gave us a fascinating insight into its historical significance something both the adults and kids found engaging. Throughout the day, he was patient, warm, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Malindi. We made a few additional stops along the way that added a personal touch to the tour, including local viewpoints and hidden gems we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. We ended the trip at the stunning Malindi sand dunes, a perfect spot to relax, take photos, and soak in the beauty of the landscape. It was peaceful, unique, and a great way to wrap up the day. I highly recommend Sila’a Safaris for anyone looking for a personalized, safe, and memorable tour experience in Malindi.
