We welcome you on Hornblower Cruises a local family run business since 1984. We are not the most modern boat but we have everything you need on-board to make your day with us unforgettable. We have designed our tours and the boat to offer you all what you need for the day - an upper sun deck, deck chairs, slide, shaded area, air conditioned bar/ restaurant, lockers facilities and more. If you are a sun lover then hop up to the upper sun-deck and soak in the sun (free deck-chairs) or if you prefer the shade, take a seat on our spacious shaded main deck. Once in the Blue Lagoon take advantage from our mooring position, away from the crowded beach - Swim, snorkel, sunbathe and slide into the turquoise water of the Blue Lagoon. The cruise also shows you the beauty of Comino island cruising close to the cliffs and into the caves and beaches of the island.

For wheelchairs please note that the toilets are situated on the lower deck. You are welcome with the wheelchair on the boat but there are 5 stairs going up to the main deck and 5 steps to access the lower deck.
Please note on Comino island and on the boat payments are accepted cash only
For guests doing the cruise in March - May or October - December bring a jacket or something warm as it gets chilly when cruising
What To Expect
Join us on this unforgettable day tour departing at 10am returns at 17:00. With captain Kevin and his crew we want to show you the beauty of this gorgeous little island. Setting off at 10am we start with some religious history, we pass by the island of St.Pauls who was shipwrecked here, in his memory a statue of him is now situated in the middle of this tiny island.
Mellieha
We will pass by the largest beach in Malta Mellieha bay and continue to enter into the Ahrax cave stopping here for some great photographic shots. Just before crossing the Comino South Channel we cruise by the famous touristic site of Coral Cove.

4.00Fantastic day out, very reasonably priced drinks and food onboard. Very helpful and friendly staff, great value for money. Best location in the blue lagoon. Limited sunbeds, need to get onboard early. No comfortable lounge chairs in the shade.

5.00An absolute must when visiting Malta. A warm and friendly welcome awaits from Captain Kevin and all the crew. Time taken to point out some great sights accompanied by some delicious cocktails. The blue lagoon is breathtakingly beautiful. Snorkel, jump in from the top-deck, or soak up some sun on the busy sandy beach or quieter rocks. The boat provides a great base covering all the facilities you will need. This trip is good value for money for a family (15, 11 & 7 YO) and we all felt well looked after. We would all definitely do this again next time we visit Malta. Thank you so much!

5.00It was a very beautiful experience! I must say it very cold tho and super windy on the boat but the UV was very high so wear a hat and sunscreen! Thankfully it was sunny the whole time. The blue lagoon was beautiful and very warm so pack your bikini. If you’re going to malta definitely book this trip! Also the dog being there made the whole trip a 10/10. Being a jacket tho if you’re not going mid summer.

5.00By far one of the best experiences I have ever had!!! The boat had such a friendly crew and made sure we enjoyed our day of fun in the sun!!! The sights were absolutely beautiful!!! The captain had an awesome playlist which was nice having music to add to the fun boat vibes. You can tell that the people crew are passionate about what they do. Highly recommend and would book again!!!

5.00100000/10 Would highly reccomend this trip. Only €30 for a whole day was such a steal. The crew and captain Kevin were amazing. The timings and instructions were very clear. We paid the extra €5 for the mini bus in Gozo and this was a great and cheap way to see the island. The blue lagoons were amazing! On the way back We were taken into the caves which were beautiful. The slide was so much fun. The whole day was magical. A must do trip if you are in Malta. P.S the music on the boat was fantastic!
