Weather permitting, during high season (usually from April till October), we will also stop for a refreshing swim at one of Mellieħa’s gorgeous bays (don't forget your swimwear!).

The time shown on the website or on your ticket is the approximate start time of the activity and not the time when you will be picked up from your hotel (or closest meeting point). At least a few days before the date of your activity, you need to make sure to contact the tour operator to confirm your pickup location and pickup time. Your pick-up time can be anytime from 30 to 105 minutes before the start time of the tour, depending on where you are staying.
Drivers must be at least 21 years old and must present a valid driving licence (original or copy) and another legally binding identification document (original only), such as an identity card or passport. Failure to present any of these documents will result in forfeiting the tour. No refunds will be given to any guests who fail to present any of the required documents.
Passengers must be at least 5 years old; therefore, children and infants under the age of 5 years (0–4.99 years) are not allowed to participate in this tour. Although children (5 years of age and older) are allowed to participate in this tour, we do not recommend this activity for very young children.
A swim stop at a gorgeous bay in Mellieha is included during high season (generally from April until October); do not forget to bring your swimwear. The swim stop is always subject to weather conditions.
A helmet will be provided to all guests.
All fuel costs are included.
All guests (both drivers and passengers) are legally obliged to wear helmets while driving/riding the quad bike.
All quad bikes are insured on a fully comprehensive basis. In case of an accident, loss, or damage to the vehicle, guests will only be liable to pay the insurance excess fee. The fee depends on the insurance company and could be anything between €300 and €400 per quad bike.
A credit card will be required as a guarantee for insurance excess fees, traffic fines, or contraventions.
Guests will need to sign an indemnity form before starting the tour.
This is a self-drive tour; you will be following a tour leader who will be driving a separate quad bike.
Drivers must always follow the tour leader.
Racing, overtaking, or any other dangerous manoeuvres are strictly prohibited. Should you not follow theses rules, the quad bike will be confiscated. No refunds will be given to any guests not abiding by these rules.
The maximum seating capacity on our quad bikes is two people (one driver and one passenger).
The itinerary or programme is subject to change without prior notice, depending on weather conditions, restrictions, unforeseen circumstances, or other operational constraints.
This tour is not recommended for travellers with mobility impairments.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Excellent way to see Mellieha

5.00This experience was well worth the money and a fab way to see some beautiful views and landmarks around Mellieha. Our guides were lovely lads, and even though my hubby and I were experienced quad bikers they went through all the safety talk and checks with us. We were lucky enough to be the only 2 on the tour so it felt like we had an exclusive package! To anyone who has limited driving or bike experience it’s really important to listen to the guides, follow their line and speed on the tracks and roads, and check your holiday insurance covers you as accidents can happen! We paid for a quad each as we both have driving licences which must be produced before the trip. We visited a lovely secluded beach where we had the opportunity to swim but we chose to have lunch in the restaurant their instead. We also saw the popeye village, visited the red tower and had some fun off roading too!

5.00We had such a fantastic time on the Half-Day ATV Quad Tour in Mellieħa! It was the perfect way to explore the island — fun, adventurous, and packed with incredible views. Our guides were friendly and knowledgeable, taking us to a great mix of local sights, scenic viewpoints, and even some hidden beach spots that were absolutely beautiful. Riding the quads was easy to pick up and added a real sense of adventure to the day. This tour gave us a completely different perspective of Malta — beyond the usual tourist areas — and we loved every minute. If you're looking for something exciting, local, and memorable, this is it. Highly recommended!

5.00We were delighted! You guide them very nicely as well as being aware of you at all times. If it’s true that we don’t stop at the beach as he says but you should also read that it’s usually done in the summer season (in March for Spaniards to be 26 degrees it’s already good weather for them is winter). They stopped us in very good photographic places and in others they asked us if we wanted to stop to take pictures, also some stop in places for drinks (it was very hot) Moreover the quad bike is in good condition and easy to handle!

4.00The quads were very modern and in great condition. The tour itself allows you to explore the island and enjoy the stunning views. You really stop everywhere "for the gram" and they let you take cool pictures and help you too to take pictures. A bit shame that in every stop there was absolutely no guidance or explanation about the views or some historical background. For adrenaline seeker it's a perfect ride.

5.00Had really good fun whizzing around north Malta. Quad bikes were nice quality and we had some fantastic views of the beautiful Maltese scenery. Tour guide was really nice chap - friendly and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. If I had any complaints, it's that we stayed a little too long at some of the stops, but I'm nitpicking. Overall, really great fun and easy to recommend.
Dangerous City Driving

2.00The pick up was 30 minutes late and when I questioned where he was-they said we weren't at our pick up location. We were exactly where they said to meet the driver. The tour was mostly through busy streets very dangerous with 10 atv's in our group.. My husband was intentionally hit by a passing car. I honked and motioned for them to stop. The two guides didn't and said later they didn't hear anything. There was no emergency protocol. We have done atv tours all over the world and we found this to be the most dangerous because of traffic and drivers being angry we were in the way. You sign your life away when you start the tour so I guess that's what they count on to cover themselves.

5.00Great fun whizzing around north Malta. Mostly on road in town, main roads and smaller roads by the sea. Bikes were new, easy to drive and with very comfortable seats. Guide Amin was friendly, patient and helpful. No commentary at the stopping points, you're left to explore by yourself. Highlights were swimming opposite Popeye village and the beautiful sunset over the sea.
