What To Expect
Admire the beautiful Blue Lagoon set against a stunning sunset on a journey up Malta's northern coast aboard a boat that features a full-service bar and food. Swim, chill, relax and enjoy drinks as you admire panoramic views of Malta, beach caves and coves, and incredible rock formations on a return journey from the Bugibba Jetty. Glide past St. Paul's Island, Ghadira Bay, Coral Cove, and Ahrax Point on your journey to the Blue Lagoon. Stop at the Blue Lagoon for just over two hours and enjoy walking along the pristine beach without the day's crowds, relax on the upper deck of the boat or take a dip in the cool waters of the lagoon with the setting sun as your backdrop. Enjoy delicious food available onboard for dinner before cruising back to Malta under the stars on an hour-long return journey.

5.00This cruise is a must! We have been to the Blue Lagoon before in the summer and it was awful so busy you couldn’t move or enjoy the water. This sunset cruise was beautiful and I assume given the time of year it was empty. The boat docks and you can jump off the boat or use the slide or just sit and relax on the boat and watch the sun go down. The staff are all lovely you can get food and drink on board. We especially loved the cocktails in pineapples! Added bonus for us was we see dolphins on our way back.

5.00Absolutely unforgettable experience with Hornblower Cruises Malta! 🌅 The Sunset Cruise was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The views around Comino and the Blue Lagoon were breathtaking, especially during sunset when the water turns the most incredible shades of blue and gold. The crew were super friendly, professional and made the whole atmosphere really fun and relaxing. Special mention to Captain Kevin for the great commentary and music throughout the trip 🎶 The boat was clean, comfortable and well organised, with plenty of time for swimming and enjoying the lagoons. The cocktails served in pineapples were also amazing 🍍 Perfect mix of relaxation, sightseeing and fun without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Malta definitely worth it and we would do it again in a heartbeat! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

1.00Terrible we where there 30 minute ahead and there where no beds in the sun it was so cold the whole tour terrible! 1 star is even to much.

5.00Easy to find boat and very friendly staff. Commentary was informative and not too much. Activity catered to all ages. We went at sunset to avoid the crowds. We had plenty of time to swim. My boyfriend loved being able to jump off the boat (he spent about an hour doing this) and I went on the slide. We finished with a walk on Comino. Food was decently priced and drinks were great. Wonderful music playlist and beautiful views. We were able to look into some of the caves on the boat and a staff member offered to take pictures of us. Would definitely recommend!

5.00It was very nice! We did the sunset tour starting at 5:15 p.m. From the very beginning, the organizers received with humor and warmth. There were wonderful cocktails straight from the pineapple - price-performance ratio for the complete trip was top. Once in the Blue Lagoon we were allowed to jump off the deck of the boat or slide. Or explore the small island. It was a lot of fun. Snorkeling equipment could be borrowed for some money, while the boat staff lined up some bread crumbs that you really got to see. All in all it was a great experience in Malta. It was worth every penny and we would repeat it anytime!

5.00The captain is a very kind person that does his job since 29 years and the thing that impressed me so much is that nevertheless he seems to love his job, is gentle to everyone and doesn’t get annoyed by repeating every time the same things. but in general all the people of the staff were always available and lovely people - i really had a great time! another plus was that he has really good taste in music!!! don’t miss this unforgettable experience:)

5.00We had done the daytime cruise yesterday and decided to come back the following day to do the sunset tour. Well, I will say during the daytime the water was more impressive the boat experience remained excellent. The skipper and staff were friendly. Cocktails are 6€ or add 4€ for it served in a pineapple! Burger was good value however the chicken nuggets were way over priced (5 nuggets for 6€ I think!). Much younger crowd up on the top deck and more mixed and families down the bottom.
