Join the ideal cruise away form the crowds to the Mamma Mia Island
We set sail aboard our boat form Skiathos Port ,cruising on a north-easterly course for the neighboring island of Skopelos. During the sail you will have the chance to admire and take photos from this very green side of the island.
Kastani is the beautiful sandy beach where 'Mamma Mia' was filmed in 2007and our first stop of the day. Here you will have the opportunity to swim and sunbath at the crystal clear waters.
After sailing for about 25 minutes we will reach Panormos port, where you will have plenty of time to explore the place and eat lunch in one of the numerous taverns.
Time to set sail for the last destination of the day and the maybe the most beautiful beach of the island Milia the ideal place to end the day.
Extra tip: You can book a seat to visit Agios Ioannis Chapel (Mamma Mia Chapel) during our sail to Kastani.

trip was cancelled, said the money would be refunded and never have seen it since. still trying to get the money. Go to the town in the morning and book someone local and not through a register.

Our transfer for this tour did NOT arrive. we waited 40 mins &when we called them they did NOT even answer. We caught the bus to the port to find out what was happening to find out they were closed. The operator used for this tour is CALYPSO tours. we asked the other tour companies if they knew whats going on and they advised tours to the island were cancelled due to high winds & they notified there passengers from the nite before. CALYSPO did NOT bother which left us very frustrated and with NO back up . my advice is, if travelling to the Greek islands, go to the port and & you can always book day tours from there.

A mixed bag really. Firstly-cannot deny that Skopolos is truly beautiful and a must see trip when staying in Skiathos! When booking the trip, it was advertised as pick up from hotel. This wasn’t the case as we were contacted the evening before by trip providers that we would be collected from the nearest bus stop to the hotel-a short walk down a rather steep hill. Not a pick up from hotel. The boat itself was very busy and i would say that every seat was taken meaning i couldn’t sit by my wife as we had to find separate seats on outbound journey by ourselves next to other groups of people just to travel out to island. Not a big deal of course, but evidence of how crammed the trip felt. Then came the main confusion of the day. Trips to the Mammia church cost €15 (tickets onboard) each and you are shuttle bus’d up to the location from the island. This was very poorly explained and led to groups of people waiting (us included) to get the bus and told they would be taken at the next beach stop on island. Not a problem with this-and the Greek lady explaining did so in good english but simply didn’t explain the fact that we’d be staggered from each stop. This cut the visit to our first beach short for us and caused some anxiety. It didn’t help when the tour lady got quite frustrated by us all-it was her lack of explanation!! The trip to the church is a must however and the sights are truly breathtaking. We had 55mins to get up and down though before bust had to get back. My wife and i, semi-fit found it do’able, but some of the older and less fit folk really struggled (but managed) the 250 steps in 30 degree heat-and made it in time (just). Back on the boat (and having successfully secured seats together!) the trip took us to the 3rd and final (beautiful) beach. “Happy hour” was announced and cocktails were reduced to €10 from €15 which in my opinion is a little steep for an already paid tour (surely some concession?). They looked nice, but in plastic cups of course. I paid €8 for a can of coke and an instant coffee which i felt was a little much… I have tried to account for the whole day here and do not wish to get away from the fact that both my wife and i loved the day. But this was down to the scenery alone that was beautiful (i think we will both look to stay on the island in future). I think that the trip organisers/providers could do a lot better to improve the experience as it felt a little more geared to making money rather than providing for a memorable experience.
