The Manaslu Circuit Trek is an epic long-distance walk into a little-visited world of ethnic minorities, big mountain scenery, and world-class trails. This is a walk for those who delight in the wonders of undeveloped Himalayan scenery and long, rewarding days of walking in a Nepal of yesteryear.

From the humid subtropics of Arughat (530m) to the icy winds of the Larkya La (5160m), you will traverse the Manaslu Conservation Area, a restricted area home to 11 different types of forests housing more than 100 species of birds and 33 mammals. You will gaze upon Manaslu (8163m), Earth’s 8th highest mountain above sea level, walk through golden millet fields, and build legs of steel.

  • Unforgettable trek thanks to Rabin an Sanu

    K6287JIkais,,Dec 5, 2025

We completed the Manaslu Circuit & Tsum Valley and I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The landscapes were stunning and incredibly varied, but what truly made the journey special were the two people who guided and supported us along the way. Our guide Rabin did a really good job. He led us safely through every section of the trek, including the long climb to Manaslu Base Camp and the Larke Pass. One of the things I valued most was how well-connected Rabin is along the route. He knows the lodges extremely well and always managed to organize the best possible rooms for us. Thanks to his network, we consistently had comfortable places to stay. His flexibility was also outstanding – he was always open to adapting the plan whenever needed. A huge part of our wonderful experience was thanks to our porter Sanu! He carried most of our luggage with constant kindness and a smile. Knowing he had our bags made the trek so much easier and allowed us to fully enjoy the journey. Without him, the experience would have been only half as good. Rabin and Sanu were truly the perfect team. Thanks to them, this trek became an unforgettable adventure. I can recommend them both.

We did the Manaslu Circuit & Tsum Valley trekking tour as a couple, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! We especially loved the incredibly diverse landscapes – from lush valleys to high alpine scenery. Every day offered something new and beautiful. A huge thank-you goes to our amazing guide Rabin! He led us safely throughout the entire trek, including the hike to Manaslu Base Camp and the crossing of the Larke Pass. Adjustments in the itinerary were always possible – Rabin was incredibly flexible and always found the best option for us. He was not only our guide on the trail but also our “culinary guide”, making sure we always had delicious food and more than enough to eat. Spending time with him was fun, full of good conversations and genuine kindness. And of course, we must mention our porter Sanu! Without him, the journey would have been only half as wonderful. For 18 days he carried a large part of our luggage and made the entire trek so much easier for us. We can highly recommend this tour – and especially this fantastic team. It was an unforgettable adventure for us!

  • Great Trekking experience - even though we couldn’t finish

We had a great trekking experience with Adventure Bound, even though we couldn’t finish the circuit, due to an upcoming storm, making the Larke Pass impassable for some days. We made it up to Samagaun and had 5 days with beautiful weather and perfect sight of the majestic mount Manaslu. On day six we woke up to snow. After a day of rest and considering the weather forecast we decided to return and made it back in 3 days. Booking and Organization: From the initial contact, through the individualization of our plan, to the spontaneous change due to the weather, everything went smoothly and the organization was superb. Big thanks to Laxman. 🙏🏼 Guide & Porter: At the evening of our arrival we were introduced to our guide Santosh, a very polite and pleasant companion, as we experienced again and again throughout the entire trip. He was caring for our wellbeing and security all the time, but he also gave us time and peace for ourselves. Next to hiking, we made jokes together, played cards, and talked about all sorts of things. Hopefully we'll see each other again someday, for another trek. 🙏🏼 We met our porter Rakam, when we started at the hotel. He seemed a little shy, probably because his English skills aren‘t that good, but he was very friendly and courteous. It was crazy how fast he walked with that big bag. All in all he did a good (and tough) job carrying our additional luggage. 🙏🏼 For our next adventure we hope for stable weather, so that we can finish 🏁

We did the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Adventure Bound, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide, Manoj, was outstanding. He always took such great care of us and made sure we were safe and comfortable every step of the way. We did the trek without a porter, and Manoj’s patience, encouragement, and constant support made all the difference. He truly cared about our well-being and always checked in to make sure we were doing okay. He also gave us the best recommendations along the way and really knew the route and local culture inside out. We even learned a bit of Nepali thanks to him! The trek itself was breathtaking, and Adventure Bound organized everything perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this company and especially Manoj if you’re planning to trek in Nepal!

  • Unforgettable adventure at Manaslu Circuit – thanks to Rabin, Tara & Adventure Bound Nepal!

We (Franzi & Chris) did the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Adventure Bound Nepal in April 2025 – and we couldn’t be happier! From the first WhatsApp message with Laxman, the head of the agency, to the last Dal Bhat in Kathmandu, everything was just right: 10/10! Organization & communication Laxman took great care of everything in advance, was always available and answered all our questions patiently. The permit, the transport, the overnight stays – everything went smoothly. We felt in the best hands from the start. Our guide Rabin – competence & heart in one person Rabin was our rock in the surf. He knows the Manaslu Trek like his back pocket, not only guided us safely through every stage, but also told us an incredible amount about nature, culture and people. He was always attentive, humorous and sensitive – we couldn’t have asked for a better companion! Our Porter Tara – Our silent hero Tara impressed us deeply. He carried our luggage as if it were nothing – always with a smile on his face. Without him, the trek would not have been the same. A huge THANK YOU to you Tara! Route & experience The Manaslu Trek is breathtaking. The diversity of the landscape – from subtropical jungle to snow-capped passes – is hard to put into words. We were lucky enough to cross Larkya La Pass in bright sunshine. The villages along the route, the warm people and the authenticity of the region make this trek a very special experience. Conclusion If you are looking for an honest, well-organized and absolutely trustworthy provider for your Nepal trek: Adventure Bound Nepal is the right choice. Laxman, Rabin and Tara made our adventure an unforgettable experience. Dhanyabad & Namaste – we will be back! Franzi & Chris
