If you've ever wanted to witness the wonder of manatees in their natural habitat, our Manatee Discovery Tour is the perfect choice for you. What sets our activity apart is the opportunity to embark on a kayaking journey specifically designed to encounter these magnificent creatures. Led by our experienced naturalists, our small group guided tours last for 2 hours and take place in the Anna Maria Island/Bradenton area, where manatees are commonly spotted. As you explore the serene waters, keep your eyes peeled for not only manatees, but also dolphins, ospreys, and other local wildlife that may make an appearance. What To Expect
If you've ever dreamed of spotting a manatee in its natural habitat, you're in luck! Our Manatee Discovery Tour offers a unique kayaking experience that allows you to witness these majestic creatures up close. Led by our experienced naturalists, these small group guided eco-tours last for 2 hours and take place in the beautiful Anna Maria Island/Bradenton area, where manatees are frequently seen. As you paddle along, keep an eye out for dolphins, ospreys, and other fascinating local wildlife that may cross your path. It's an adventure you won't want to miss! Please note that we use tandem kayaks. If there is a solo customer or odd numbered group we will set up one single kayak to accommodate. We use tandem kayaks to reduce our footprint in the manatees environment making sure we do our best to not disturb them. Please call with any questions or requests.

He made the whole trip fun, relaxing, and unforgettable while making sure everyone had a great view of the manatees. Kinsey was awesome! Highly recommend

5.00I went on a solo trip to Anna Maria Island for my birthday and had a blast during this excursion. This was such a fun experience. Our guide Kenzie has a passion and care for the island and its wildlife that is truly inspiring and heartwarming. You can’t fake the level of excitement radiating from him and that made the experience even better. He was so knowledgeable about the island and comforting for the folks newer to kayaking. I feel like I experienced SO much for the price I paid. We saw manatees, stopped off at a more private part of the Island, witnessed Kenzie prevent more wildlife from getting caught in fishing lines (truly grateful he intervened), and I got to hold a crab. It was a solid workout too. I highly recommend this experience and booking with Florida Blue Adventures.

5.00This was a great tour, both tour guides were super knowledgeable and funny. We spotted a manatee and followed her around for a while, I loved that the guides Ben and Kinsey were so flexible to just change and adapt the tour based on spotting a manatee!

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the Manatee discovery on 04/29/26. Our guide Andrew along with Kinsey and another guide (Cody possibly) were not only great at spotting Manatees and other wildlife, they were knowledgable about the area/ habitat and most importantly they made sure that we were close enough to see the Manatees yet far enough away so that we did not disturb them. As an added bonus they were also really fun and engaging. I would definitely recommend Florida Blue Adventures without hesitation.

5.00Book this trip!! We booked the trip in the hopes to get a glimpse of a manatee and have a nice day on the water. Five minutes into our trip we landed on a whole pod of manatees!! We floated around with them for an entire hour. It was an amazing experience and Lachlan was a great guide. Knowledgeable and fun. I can’t say enough great things about this trip

The tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and didn’t ever stop encouraging some of our group who were less experienced. We were able to see a wide variety of wildlife, including manatees! Highly recommend. Thanks to our guides especially, Lachlan and Blaze!

5.00I had such a great experience on the Manatee Discovery kayak tour in Anna Maria Island! The tour guides blaze and Lachlan were incredibly nice and made everyone feel comfortable right from the start. You could tell they were really knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife they shared so many interesting facts along the way that made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The group itself was a lot of fun too, which made the experience even better. Everything felt relaxed, well-organized, and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re looking for a fun and informative way to explore the area, I’d definitely recommend this tour!
