American Pro Diving Center helps visitors and locals explore the clear, teeming waters of Florida with year-round manatee tour adventures. This tour is for both swimmers and riders. All the equipment is included on this manatee snorkel tour in Crystal River, Florida. Snorkelers don on wet suits, mask, snorkel and fins to see a large population of resident sea cows. Our in-water guides known as the Dive-master keep the experience safe and fun for both manatees and people. Snorkelers swim with these gentle giants for a once in a lifetime experience. Don’t forget to smile as our guide videos the excursion which is available after the tour on flash drive. Rain or shine our boats are covered and on cold days, hot chocolate. Hope to see you soon.

What To Expect
Start your manatee tour at the most interesting place in the world, American Pro Diving Center in Crystal River, Florida. Arrive just minutes before your reserved tour time where you will find one of the finest five star PADI dive and snorkel facilities. Our friendly staff guides you and your family thru check in, gear up and a presentation on how to behave around manatees. Follow the in water guides on a short drive to the docks where there is plenty of parking. This manatee adventure is by boat on the spring fed waters of Crystal River where sea-sickness is never an issue. Experience the manatee water world either by snorkel or as a boat rider. Fun for the whole family. After returning to the docks follow the guides back to American Pro Diving Center to return gear, change into dry clothes, shop for souvenirs and watch your trip on the big screen TV. Great memories last a lifetime!

5.00Absolutely incredible semi-private manatee tour with Captain Taylor and Divemaster Ryan. From the moment we arrived, they made the entire experience feel special, personal, and relaxed. I truly appreciated how intentional they were about finding quieter, less crowded spots so we could observe the manatees peacefully and respectfully. It made such a difference and allowed for some truly magical encounters. Their knowledge and education were top-tier. We learned so much about manatee behavior, conservation, and the local ecosystem, all explained in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. On top of that, both Captain Taylor and Ryan are hilarious, light-hearted, and genuinely fun to be around (the dad jokes from Capt. Taylor were an added bonus). The perfect mix of professional and playful. The Manatee Mocha afterward was such a cozy, thoughtful bonus and exactly what we needed after being in the water. Even with the cold weather and wetsuits, this experience was 100% worth it. If you’re considering a manatee tour, do yourself a favor and book this one. Unforgettable, educational, and full of good vibes. This was truly a life-changing experience and something that will be in my memories and heart forever. Thank you both! 🐋🩵☕

5.00We had an amazing time swimming with the manatees! I went with my family which included a 4 year old and twin 9 month olds. Taylor was our captain and Bri was our guide. They were both friendly and knowledgeable! They were very welcoming and we had no issues bringing our infants with us. They were able to hang out on the pontoon while we took turns swimming so that someone was always onboard with them. My 4 year old was able to go out and swam on my back for a bit then Bri offered to take him with her. We got to see the manatees and even a few babies! Such an amazing experience!

5.00Absolutely amazing! Even though we went on a warm day at a late time (which is not usually favorable for manatee sightings) Captain Taylor and Guide Ryan made sure to find some manatees for us to observe. They were both entertaining and educational. I will absolutely go again. :)
