American Pro Diving Center helps visitors and locals explore the clear, teeming waters of Florida with year-round manatee tour adventures. This tour is for both swimmers and riders. All the equipment is included on this manatee snorkel tour in Crystal River, Florida. Snorkelers don on wet suits, mask, snorkel and fins to see a large population of resident sea cows. Our in-water guides known as the Dive-master keep the experience safe and fun for both manatees and people. Snorkelers swim with these gentle giants for a once in a lifetime experience. Don’t forget to smile as our guide videos the excursion which is available after the tour on flash drive. Rain or shine our boats are covered and on cold days, hot chocolate. Hope to see you soon.

What To Expect
Start your manatee tour at the most interesting place in the world, American Pro Diving Center in Crystal River, Florida. Arrive just minutes before your reserved tour time where you will find one of the finest five star PADI dive and snorkel facilities. Our friendly staff guides you and your family thru check in, gear up and a presentation on how to behave around manatees. Follow the in water guides on a short drive to the docks where there is plenty of parking. This manatee adventure is by boat on the spring fed waters of Crystal River where sea-sickness is never an issue. Experience the manatee water world either by snorkel or as a boat rider. Fun for the whole family. After returning to the docks follow the guides back to American Pro Diving Center to return gear, change into dry clothes, shop for souvenirs and watch your trip on the big screen TV. Great memories last a lifetime!

5.00Absolutely amazing! Even though we went on a warm day at a late time (which is not usually favorable for manatee sightings) Captain Taylor and Guide Ryan made sure to find some manatees for us to observe. They were both entertaining and educational. I will absolutely go again. :)

5.00Bri and Captain Mike were fantastic. Took us to Hunter Springs where there were 10 or so manatees in the protected area and many others swimming around. Saw several mamas with calves. Several of them swam up very close to us and it was awesome. Saw plenty other on the boat ride out and back. Bri and Mike were super friendly and knowledgeable and have great senses of humor. Photos Bri took were great. Will definitely book them next time I’m here.

5.00We had such an amazing tour with Capt Taylor and Ryan. They took great care of our group to ensure the safety of ourselves and the manatees. Although the water was cold, they prepared us with wetsuits, warm towels and hot mocha. Manatees are such peaceful and gentle creatures, I am blessed to have had this snorkel experience with them.

5.00The boat very comfortable, there was hot chocolate and coffee which with the cold wave there was a nice and wise detail. The super cool, traveling and adventurous guide, also a guide to other experiences in other climates, took us calmly, helped my 8-year-old son and 76-year-old mom to get in the best position on the water and to be as calm to experience the manatees that many of us saw. Three sisters was closed so the water wasn't crystal clear, but it was worth it. The pilot of the boat also friendly and accommodating gave us a tour of other places to explore more.

5.00This was one of my favorite activities I’ve done in FL. Heather and Eric were very informative and fun guides. The manatees were so cool to see and I even had a baby one come up to me to play with my hair. We also got hot chocolate when we got back on the boat.

5.00It was a great experience. Short stress-free boat ride (low speed) and many manatees seen - very close. Our swim guide Bree was awesome and helped to make sure we all had the opportunity to be up close with the manatees. Ryan was a great boat captain. 10/10 recommend!

4.00It was great! The guides were extremely knowledgeable and we saw 5 manatees up close. I’m taking 1 star off because 2 of our masks didn’t work so well. The nose kept filling up with water and my daughter and I couldn’t snorkel that well.
