Good walk around Manchester Central. Interesting sites to see, although some are just a new building at a historic music site, so the original could not be seen. Maybe an iPad w old photos would be helpful. The guide was nice and had interesting narrations but there was too much ambient noise (street noise, music at hotel bar, etc) that some of it couldn’t be heard, especially if you weren’t standing next to him. He also didn’t have a Q&A session at the end which would have been nice.

We did the music tour of Manchester and it was an amazing experience. If you like Oasis, The Smiths, Joy Division, Stone Roses and all the music culture that has come out of this city, this tour is mandatory.

Jonathons Manchester music tour was really informative and interesting and fun with a bit of music thrown in too. As a big music fan, I enjoyed seeing the old venues around Manchester that bands played in, in the 80s/90s!

I loved the experience! exceeded my expectations in many ways. The guide is endearing, with the typical great English sense of humor. The content of the tour and the information provided has also been of great quality, with very interesting original data. The number of people per group is also nice, we were between 8-10 people and it was fun to chat and walk while learning about the local music scene Unfortunately I didn’t keep the name of the guide, but I thank you very much for the memory I have left of this tour and Manchester 🩷🐝

We booked an Oasis Tour and expected that the guide is focusing on them and shows us many hidden places. In the ended told us much more about football / soccer and general music than about Oasis. Not many insider stories or facts about the band. Ok for the price but disappointing still some we were expecting something differently.

The tour was brilliant 👏 would have liked a bit more about Oasis and Stone Roses. The main problem we had was Trip Advisor only gave us the postcode not an actual location, so we were walking around quite a bit before we say a group gather. Fir future visits please state to meet St tge music hall.

A tour where you are whisked around between different concert venues and find out which famous artists have performed there. Had hoped for more exciting anecdotes, now it was very repetitive. Cannot recommend.

Really excellent. Perfect length and pace. Jonathan had such interesting knowledge, loved that he played a few tunes to get a good interaction. Would definitely recommend. It was his knowledge of the macro economics of the city, that really helped me to visualise and understand how the scene evolved in Manchester
