I was at the March concert of this fantastic quartet in the church of San Giorgio in Venice. I didn't think I'd be won over by the sweet, melancholy sound of mandolins. Not only the beauty of the place but also the skill of these interpreters. I highly recommend participating in this authentic experience of music and culture.

I went to a MandolinVenice concert and I say right away that it is one of those experiences that do not seem “touristy”, but authentic. The musical level is really high, you can hear that they are real musicians, not improvised. The repertoire is well chosen, flows without downtime and always keeps you inside. The Anglican church is perfect: small, cosy, with an acoustics that enhances the mandolin in a surprising way. The atmosphere is intimate, almost suspended. It is elegant, different from the usual and makes you experience Venice in a more authentic way.

We attended a nighttime performance in early spring 2026. The program was well-balanced and delightful. The musicians are extremely good and everything was so atmospheric, as the church in which it is held is small and intimate. If you have never been to a mandolin concert, this is a must. I would definitely attend another concert of the Mandolin Venice Ensemble. Afterwards, we walked home through the alleys and along the canals, a quiet and mysterious hour when all the crowds have vanished and only the sound of mandolin music still plays in our memory. Truly a magical night in Venice I will never forget.

We had just 2 days in Venice, my friend was staying an additional night and had tickets to the Vivaldi concert which happily I had seen previously so we decided to try this Mandolin concert. It was a great surprise and so enjoyable. They are very talented musicians, gave a brief background story to each piece which helped us to enjoy the selection even more. Highly recommended!

Last night I attended MandolinVenice’s Christmas concert in Venice and felt immediately at ease. The heated church, soft lighting, and festive mood created a wonderfully intimate atmosfere. I felt personally involved in the music from the very first notes. The performance was warm, elegant, and deeply enjoyable. A truly special Christmas experience I would gladly repeat.

The concert was truly beautiful and moving. The classical music, enriched with wonderful Christmas pieces, created a warm and charming atmosphere that immediately captured the audience’s attention. The musical group, made up of two mandolins, one mandola, and a guitar, showed great harmony and excellent musical skill. Each instrument had its own role while blending perfectly into a balanced and refined sound. The Christmas pieces were performed with elegance and sensitivity, creating moments of real magic. The performance was precise and expressive, clearly showing the musicians’ passion and professionalism. This concert successfully combined tradition, emotion, and beauty, leaving a very positive impression and a strong desire to attend future performances by this ensemble.

Fantastic evening! What a concert :) I have no idea why the place wasn't packed out... The venue was lovely, intimate and warm. The musicians were amazing. I couldn't believe my luck in catching this, final of tour, concert. I'd always hoped to hear one, particular, piece live...So, to hear it in Venice was an absolute treat.
