What To Expect

The guide will meet you at Pontal beach where the kayak tour begins. A experienced English speaking guides will give paddling and safety instruction for double kayaks before you set out on the flat waters of the bay. No previous kayaking experience necessary. You will paddle past between islands and stop at beautiful beach for swimming, refreshments and relaxation. On the return to Pontal beach you paddle through the mangrove full of bright red crabs, providing the tide is high enough. This is an active, fun tour for people who want to explore the bay of Paraty.

Fantastic tour! You surprised me! Worth every penny and minute under the sun rsrs! I highlight my thanks and compliments to instructor Pipo, for patience, attention, sympathy, experience and history lesson! A sensational guide who did not measure efforts to provide a good walk! One of the best experiences of Paraty for sure!

Absolutely fabulous few hours kayaking on the sea into the Mangroves, seeing the capybara’s up close and personal was the highlight, and our tour guides Juliano & Pepo were fantastic, fun, full of knowledge and experience. Really, really enjoyed the whole experience and you don’t need to be an experienced kayaker, they give an excellent briefing safety included. Thank you Juliano & Pepo 🙏🏾
