I have just finished my leftovers from this wonderful class with the fabulous Chyl. I learnt how to make a tasty traditional Filipino snack all while chatting away with Chyl about food, the Philippines as well as life in general. It was like cooking with a friend - relaxed and fun. I would definitely recommend it, not least because I had enough food leftover to have for my dinner. Thanks Chyl and Explore Manila Tours!

It was a super nice cooking class. The price guide was incredibly friendly and easy going. She talked a lot about Filipino cuisine. There was a calamansi juice as a welcome drink and you could drink water or calamansi juice during the course. All in all, it was great value for money. The only thing that disturbed something was the environment. It was in the middle of a center and there was a lot of noise around. This disturbed the atmosphere a bit but the experience was still great.

My fiance and I recently did the Filipino Meryenda cooking class, and absolutely loved it! Chyl was such a lovely host/chef and made us feel very welcome. We learned how to create three delicious Filipino dishes while learning more about food culture/history here in the Philippines. Cooking outside was a fun experience as well! We would highly recommend this cooking class 🙂

We had a great cooking class! Dishes we cooked were nice and easy to re-produce at home. And it was very nice to talk to Chyl, the host!

I am in a wheelchair and grandpa and a couple of men helped me get into the house which I appreciated. Although I thought it would be a cooking class it was fine that it wasn't. Grandma Oyet and Nana had prepared a delicious lunch for us. There were vegetable fritters, a sour soup (because Filipinos have a sour tongue), pork spring rolls, chicken adobo and rice. Along with a delicious cucumber, lemon and ginger drink and a dessert. Even better than the food was the conversation. Grandma Oyet shared about, her family, life in Manila and her and Hrandpa's love story!

This cooking class is a must do for Manila tourists. Chyl not only taught us how to cook the food, but also about filipino culture and history along with it. The food was very simple to make and came out delicious.

We had a lovely time learning to cook sweet and savoury spring rolls and a vegetable stir fry with Chyl. She really made us feel welcome and she is a great (and patient) teacher of cooking. Plenty of interesting conversations about the Philippines too and we got to bring the results of our labours with us to enjoy later - we recommend the experience. Salamat po Chyl!

it was a nice experience, I really enjoyed it. The bike was cute and really good maintained, they did a safety check before handing the bike over it made me feel more secured. Would do it again!!
