It was an excellent day tour . Really interesting city to see is Maputo. I was lucky to have this tour on Saturday as it is a holiday for the locals. Anyway the guide and the driver were excellent. Don’t miss this day tour if ever in Maputo.

The program would actually be good and the guide was helpful, the driver professional us sejr good vehicle, but.... Iron House closed National Museum closed Town Hall closed And because it was Sunday.... Churches occupied and market more than half empty The food in Katembe that I had to take alone was sejr good, though more expensive than usual

Tour was okay, but we were somewhat unhappy with how it ended. Tour included a lunch stop, which we were not interested in. Unfortunately, we were not given the option to skip. While others were eating, we agreed to wait until a specified time. The agreed to time was not followed. A better attempt could have been made to accommodate.

First of all, the city of Maputo exceeded any and all expectations - a most excellent day spending about five hours touring with Tours Maputo. The pace was great, the sites worthy and the best lunch spot on the sea. Our guides were professional, friendly and informative. We were arriving on a cruise ship with limited time - they worked with our schedule picking us up and delivering us to the port. The communication prior was v prompt and detailed. TYSM for a wonderful day in your amazing country! 😀🙌🏻💛‼️ PS they even arranged for the most beautiful blue sky day with perfect temps ;)

How cool! Wimbe Beach is a beautiful place in Mozambique, famous for its crystal clear waters and white sand. The images of this place often convey a sense of tranquility and nature beauty.

In addition to visiting all the interesting sites in Maputo, Egas's tour included much more. Being a history and geopolitical buff I wanted additional information regarding the Mozambican Civil War. Not only did he give a detailed analysis of events leading up to the war, as a result of Portuguese colonization, but he explained the positive aftermath under the leadership of President Samora Machel.

What a great tour! Our driver was Alfainho and our guide was Milton. Between them we had a wonderful overview of the city. We started at the beautiful train station and ended across the Katembe bridge for a delicious seafood lunch. The city is extremely diverse and we tweaked the itinerary a bit to see some of the Saturday weddings in the botanical garden and one at a church! We also saw all the top spots including the Lemon Squeezy Church. In direct contrast we had a drive through the Mafalala neighborhood which is ramshackle housing and dirt play areas. Quite sad to see all the children playing barefoot with only one ball for all of them and then just a few blocks later you have nice housing and shops. Everywhere we went people were smiling and we heard lots of music. Milton did a great job of explaining everything and making sure to keep everyone happy. He did his best to minimize walking for those with walkers and poc’s and assisting as needed!

Great tour. Got to every site . We varied and spent time at botanical gardens where weddings take place every Saturday. Wonderful experience. Also got to see the inner city which was eye opening. Seeing the soccer field which had no grass….. dirt and sand. Bare feet. Fort very interesting. Guide Milton was very informative. Vehicle nice and a/c. Finished at beachfront restaurant with tasty seafood large prawns on our own.
