This was the most amazing day trip! Gilly, a fabulously informed guide to the Chagga area. The visit to the Chagga village was great, made so special by the local women's storytelling. They prepared, roasted and ground my very own cup of Arabica coffee in front of me. One of the best coffee's I've ever drunk! The shop in the village had many local crafts for sale. I like buying locally. Lunch was out in the forest at a place called Kilema Paradise. And it certainly was! Wonderful lunch at a wonderful location finishing off a wonderful day.

I would recommend the Marangu day trip with KLM safaris! First, you go to the Marangu gate of Kilimanjaro National Park, which is fun to see and take some pictures! The guide also knew a hidden little valley nearby, which was very beautiful and had a little waterfall. Afterwards, we went to the Chagga village, which was very interesting and I learned a lot! Here, a tasteful lunch was provided as well. Finally, we walked through beautiful nature to the Ndoro waterfall, which was absolutely stunning. We were the only ones there, and the waterfall itself and the surrounding nature were amazing. As always, everything was well arranged and taken care of.
