What To Expect
Maras
Maras is a town near the city of Cusco in the Sacred Valley of southeastern Peru. It's known for the Maras Salt Mines, thousands of individual salt pools on a hillside, dating back to Incan times. West of the town is Moray, an Inca archaeological site on a high plateau featuring a series of concentric terraces. Surrounding trails offer views of the snow-capped Urubamba mountain range.

Moray is an archaeological site in Peru approximately 50 kilometres northwest of Cuzco on a high plateau at about 3,500 metres and just west of the village of Maras. The site contains unusual Inca ruins, mostly consisting of several terraced circular depressions, the largest of which is approximately 30 m deep

5.00We had a great time at the sacred valley. Mr Eirton cesver Anto Montalvo was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and provided us with a detailed history and significance of the sites. Highly recommend this tour ! Also please ask for Mr Montalvi , he is an excellent guide.

5.00This was a wonderful tour, Holger was extremely knowledgeable and I learned so much! He went above and beyond to make sure I was able to see everything I wanted and take plenty of stops for pictures or just to take the amazing sites in. I was able to book the the tour last minute and they were more than accommodating with my schedule, I even reached out to Holger on WhatsApp before booking to ask a million questions and he was so helpful. The transportation was clean, safe, and comfortable! I plan on coming back to Cusco and I will most certainly call Holger for every tour. I highly recommend Andina Expeditions for your tours!

5.00Olger and his driver were both amazing. I had more energy than I expected and booked this the afternoon of my arrival. Olger is so friendly, so knowledgeable, and a very nice photographer for solo travelers! He even went well out of his way and helped me when I started having issues with a different company for an excursion that I had the next day. I highly recommend booking with him!

5.00The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. He always made sure we had enough time at our stops to take pictures etc so we didn’t feel rushed. He even made an unplanned stop for us to get some empanadas for the road! We got into Cusco in the morning so we missed all of the morning tours. It was nice to have an afternoon alternative.
