Today marks the start of our Mardi Himal Trek. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Pokhara and drive together to the trek's starting point in Dhampus. The drive takes about one hour. Once we reach Dhampus, we will begin our trek to Forest Camp. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the mountains, landscapes, and forests. The total distance from Dhampus to Forest Camp is 12 kilometres, and it will take approximately 6 to 7 hours of walking. We will spend the night at a teahouse in Forest Camp.

Today marks the second day of our 4-night, 5-day Mardi Himal Trek from Pokhara. On this day, we will trek from Forest Camp to High Camp. As we make our way to High Camp, we will stop at Low Camp, where we can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The total distance from Forest Camp to High Camp is 8.5 kilometres, and the trek will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. We will spend the night at a teahouse in High Camp.

Mardi Himal Trek
On this day, we will hike to either Mardi Himal Base Camp or Mardi Himal View Point, depending on your preference. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of Fishtail, Annapurna, and Hiunchuli. After reaching the View Point or Base Camp, we will trek back to Badal Danda. We will spend the night at a teahouse in Badal Danda.

On this day, we will descend to the picturesque mountain village of Landruk. From Landruk, we can enjoy views of local houses, farmlands, lifestyle of locals, and the stunning sights of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. The journey from Badal Danda to Landruk takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. We will stay overnight at a teahouse in Landruk.

Today marks the end of our 4-night, 5-day Mardi Himal Trek from and to Pokhara. On this final day, we will have a short trek from Landruk to Siwai, which takes approximately one and a half hours. Siwai is our endpoint for the trek. After reaching Siwai, we will drive to your hotel in Pokhara by private Car, Jeep, or Hiace, depending on the group size. Once we arrive at your hotel in Pokhara, our 5-day Mardi Himal Trek will conclude.

We had been planning this trip for months, and you always helped us with every question and doubt we had. You’ve always been so kind, and that made me trust you and your company completely. As for Mr. Nepal, Shiva, and Lama, we have nothing but words of gratitude. Mr. Nepal was incredibly generous — he waited for us whenever we needed it, explained every step of our journey, and was always kind and thoughtful. Lama and Shiva were much more than our porters; they were always smiling and sharing once-in-a-lifetime moments with us. We felt safe and cared for at all times — from the planning stage to the very last minute — and that’s what truly matters most to us.

5.00Had an amazing time trekking mardi himal with base camp hike. I organised the trip with Jayaram, who was really relaxed and super helpful in arranging the hike. Then I met my guide Navaraj Nepal who picked me up from my accommodation so we could begin the hike. Navaraj was fantastic and I had such a fun time hiking with him, he was really caring and attentive while also sharing jokes the whole time. He made sure we had the best accomodation and sorted out all the food/everything I needed at the tea houses. He was really kind also to others we encountered. The day we hiked to the top it was really rainy with bad visibility, and Navaraj advised the best plan. He stayed up all night waiting for the rain to pass, woke me when it was time, and despite leaving later in the morning we were able to see unbelievable views of Annapurna, Mardi Himal and Fishtail. Many other solo trekkers and guided groups had missed this view and we passed them on the way up, so I am extremely grateful I had Nepal Dai to offer guidance. It was quite clear that trekking with a guide was a much safer and more seamless experience, so I would highly recommend booking through Base Camp Hike to find a good guide.

5.00We did the Lantang Valley trail with our guide MP. It was a great experience and we loved it, hiking through the different areas and elevations was great and there was always a beautiful view to look at. The organisation from start to finish of the trip was faultless. MP was very knowledgeable and kind, always going above and beyond. He is also great company (and great English) during hiking. I would recommend him greatly. It is worth mentioning that BOTTLED WATER GETS INCREASINGLY EXPENSIVE as you go on the trail. If you are doing any trail in the Himalayas I would recommend getting water purification tablets or a bottle filter as we ended up paying £3-£4/ L of water.

5.00We had a fantastic guide Abhi (Man Bahadur) and trekking. At the last minute we decided to do the Mardi Hymal trekking from Pokhara. Sent an app and the next day everything was arranged. And also at a good price. Abhi made sure everything was adjusted to our pace, sometimes we ran a bit fast I think. Because of the risk of altitude sickness, we were closely monitored. Fortunately, we have not been bothered. Abhi, thank you for the fantastic time,???

5.00This was my first time doing an overnight or multi-day trek, and I was quite nervous beforehand — but Base Camp Hike made the whole experience incredible. Everything was well-organised from the start, and the team were so supportive and attentive throughout. They checked in regularly, always had fresh fruit after meals, and even offered biscuits and bananas as a pick-me-up along the way. When we got caught in a storm, they came to the rescue with extra waterproofs, which we were so grateful for! The porters were also amazing — friendly, helpful, and full of energy. Thank you so much for a truly memorable trek. I’d highly recommend this company to anyone hiking in Nepal!
