Mardi Himal is an unseen gem and an unexplored trekking destination in Nepal. Lying south to one of the most popular trekking routes which is Annapurna Base Camp trail, not many has set their foot in the trail of Mardi. This trek can be a good route to trek because of less crowd during the favorable seasons unlike the other trails. You won’t be meeting tourists or trekkers frequently like in other treks. The major attractions of this trekking is Mardi Base Camp, the traditional Nepali village Landruk, the up close view of the mountains and the green luscious forest at Forest Camp.

Just finished my first trek with Ace. What a terrific experience! My guide, Deepak Neupane, was awesome. I felt totally safe and secure with him leading me. He was responsive to my requests and needs, setting a pace that was comfortable and pointing out features of the amazing landscape as we walked. I hope to try another trek with Ace The Himalayas in the future.

A fantastic trip through the jungle / forest on the first 2 days and then up to the view point at sunset for the most amazing views! Our guide Ishwor was amazing, telling us everything about Nepal & really looked after us throughout the whole journey. We experienced more than just the trek. Ishwor showed us the kindness of Nepali people, culture, traditions, and food. We will definitely come back for another adventure!

Mardi Himal trek is a wanderful trek, it not difficult. Each day we walk around 5 to 6 hours. We start the trek from Phedi, trek 4 to 5 hours and stay overnight at Deurali. Next day we start trek to Forest Camp and continue to High Camp. We stay 2 days at High Camp. From here you can view Annanpurna and Machhapuchhre (fishtail). The next day the journey begins early, continue up to an altitude of 4500m to viewpoint and based camp. Enjoy the beautiful mountains and scenery. Next morning we trek down to Sidhing from high camp its take about 6 to 7 hours. From Sidhing take 2 hour drive back to Pokhara and end our trek.

Excellent trip, well managed by Ace. Ace was very adaptable. You are committing to things far away when you sign up, that you dont know "how does it work." But Ace keeps you informed on what to do and also was able to make changes as was needed. Krish, our guide was FANTASTIC--kind, knowledgeable, client focused, and a leader. He is helpful to we trekkers, the staff at the tea houses, and the porters. He's also charming and funny. I have travelled a lot and found a level of comfort and a sense of "he's got us covered, we are ok and taken care of." Also, like the Ace management, he was adaptable and could make changes as necessary to elements of our hike. He also introduced us to other guides (he seems to know everyone) and they all seemed to be knowledgeable, and client focused. We were lucky to have great weather, making the hike easier, but it is a very accessible hike to anyone who can (and wants to do!) a lot of stairs! The scenery was fantastic and the experience in meeting Nepalese people was rich. We enjoyed all of the conversations and chances to learn about things in Nepal. Great company with a great service.

This was my first trek and was so happy that my friend and I chose to go with Ace. It was an adventure of a lifetime, primarily because of the excellent guidance of our guide Krish. He made sure that our group was always safe and was comfortable. He seemed to be working constantly to ensure that we were okay. I loved the opportunity to meet many other trekkers, especially the Nepalese students that were also on the trail during that time.

I did Mardi Himal after the Annapurna Circuit (also with Ace). The trek was stunning, and was a fantastic addition to the Circuit. I am sure it would also work well as a standalone trek. Ace as a company was superb. They were flexible throughout and very easy to communicate with. Dipak, my guide, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the surrounding mountains and terrain, and was great fun outside of trekking hours. Because we were acclimatised to altitude by the time we did the Mardi Himal trek, we could push each day and he was very willing to keep going - as a result we did the trek in two days.

We trekked to Mardi Himal for 10 days. Our guide, Ram, and our porter, Kismat, we’re so attentive and patient. They took care of everything for us on this trip, every last detail was thought out and cared for. There were hardly any other tourists on this trek which made the experience even more memorable. I’d highly recommend Ram and Kismat, their attention to detail was superb.
