What To Expect
Bonaire National Marine Park
Covering all the waters surrounding Bonaire and Klein Bonaire, this is an area of about 27 km² (6672 acres). It hosts a variety of ecosystems such as its renowned coral reefs, mangroves and seagrass beds and it includes the areas of Lac and Klein Bonaire. It is a multi-use Marine Protected Area as anybody is welcome to enter the waters and a wide array of activities are provided such as scuba diving, snorkeling, sightseeing, fishing, watersports & more.
Klein Bonaire
Klein Bonaire is a small uninhabited island located just off the coast of Bonaire. It is about half a mile from Bonaire at its closest point. We’ll show you the most beautiful Beaches Klein Bonaire has to offer. These are only accessible by boat and are home to the most well-preserved corals and beautiful fish. This area is part of the National Marine Park and is home to turtle nesting grounds. It is very likely you will see sea turtles in this area. Your guide will tell you all about the underwater life and what you can expect. You can go for a swim, enjoy the beach or just stay on board and enjoy the ocean breeze.

5.00Captain Darin absolutely met and far exceeded my expectations. He and his first mate Little John catered to our every need. Darin is most knowledgeable about every aspect of Caribbean life to include the environment, marine life, economics of the island and much, much more. I most highly recommend Salty Tours when in Bonaire!

5.00Amazing experience. Great day on the water. The boat was perfect; Darin was an excellent host and showed us the great spots to snorkel and beach. Definitely worth booking for a family versus going with a large cruise line excursion group. Darin met us right by the cruise ship pier, responsive to questions, and made the day perfect with his hospitality. 10/10 day, 100% worth it.

5.00We had a fabulous time on our private excursion. Eight of us went out and it was a bit windier than normal and I believe many other larger excursions from the cruise were even cancelled, but the guide was very experienced and took us to places to he knew locally and we had the best day ever. One person in our group was a novice swimmer and had never snorkeled and she is now hooked. I have snorkeled in Fiji and Belize and many beautiful places and now can say Bonaire is right at the top of the this list because of the wonderful views and amazing fish we were so fortunate to see during our time on this tour. We had 2 amazing snorkel stops. He offered a 3rd for us but we were all tired and so he drove us around to see many sites and told us about the area to fill the rest of our time. He had plenty of drinks for us as well--beer, soda and water. Worth the cost and tips! I would definitely do this one again. The Scott Family

5.00If you do nothing else in Bonaire, please let Darin take your group out for an amazing time. He took us to 2 different snorkeling locations and had all the equipment we needed, including drinks. He even took us tubing and made sure to go at a safe speed for the kids. Our group of 10 have not stopped talking about our port call to Bonaire for its beauty, but even more so about how much fun we had with Darin and Salty Tours Bonaire.

5.00Outstanding experience!!!! Our captain Tariq was awesome!! He catered to our every request and even encouraged my 75yr old father to go tubing. He could see that my dad really wanted to go but was very hesitant. He encouraged him to go, and made him feel very safe. He fulfilled a dream (for lack of better words) that he will remember and talk about for years to come! I highly recommend this tour. If we ever come back to Bonaire - we will definitely book again.
