What To Expect
Bonaire National Marine Park
Covering all the waters surrounding Bonaire and Klein Bonaire, this is an area of about 27 km² (6672 acres). It hosts a variety of ecosystems such as its renowned coral reefs, mangroves and seagrass beds and it includes the areas of Lac and Klein Bonaire. It is a multi-use Marine Protected Area as anybody is welcome to enter the waters and a wide array of activities are provided such as scuba diving, snorkeling, sightseeing, fishing, watersports & more.
Klein Bonaire
Klein Bonaire is a small uninhabited island located just off the coast of Bonaire. It is about half a mile from Bonaire at its closest point. We’ll show you the most beautiful Beaches Klein Bonaire has to offer. These are only accessible by boat and are home to the most well-preserved corals and beautiful fish. This area is part of the National Marine Park and is home to turtle nesting grounds. It is very likely you will see sea turtles in this area. Your guide will tell you all about the underwater life and what you can expect. You can go for a swim, enjoy the beach or just stay on board and enjoy the ocean breeze.

5.00Eight family members ranging in age from 11 to 76 went on this adventure. We were pleasantly surprised to find the 5 minute walk promised from the cruise exit to the dock was actually 2. Our boat and friendly captain arrived 10 minutes early and we boarded and left. There was a 20 minute gentle ride along the shore with the captain explaining about Bonaire and showing us sights. We visited 2 snorkeling sights with plenty of time at each before a swimming stop at a crowded Klein Beach. Plenty of drinks and snorkeling masks were provided. The ride back was faster and fun. Everyone had a great time.

5.00Our family had a wonderful time on this trip! Tariq was our captain and guide. We were so happy to have him since he is very friendly, patient, & kind. We range in age from 7 months to 65 years of age. He considered the fun and safety of all of us aboard! Nothing was too much for him to help us all have a good time! Tariq loves his native Bonaire and had lots to share about this beautiful island. He took us to a couple of great snorkeling spots. Can highly recommend Salty Tours and crew! Such turquoise waters and soft powdery sand! Cannot wait to return again and have them take us on another delightful snorkeling excursion!
