A good way to find out about the wines in Marlborough. Our guide was running late but as we can’t ring out or receive phone calls from our phones due to the sim we have, we didn’t know. Eventually she turned up and the tour began. We visited a few estates. Mostly small businesses instead of the large corporations. This was better as we could see the true passion in the wine industry. I’ve since seen a few of the ones we’ve tried in the supermarket. A wine tour is a good way of getting to know the variety without having to drive.

Toni was a fabulous guide - quickly learning each guest’s interests to tailor the tour. She went to extra efforts to bring the winemaking alive by extending the tour to the vines themselves. I know very little about wine - already knew it tasted good! But learned a lot about the vocabulary of processes. And no pressure to buy, from Toni or the vineyards. Highly recommended.

Toured some of the best boutique wineries today with Toni as our guide. Toni is super knowledgeable on everything wine which made the tour that little bit more interesting. Tons of laughs, comfy van, great selection of wineries plus the bonus of a lunch stop at an award winning winery. Thanks Discovery Wine Tours and especially Toni for an amazing day. Will definately be booking again.

This was a great tour. We had lunch and a wine tasting at St. Clair followed by tastings at Whitehaven and Framingham, and then a final stop at a chocolatier. Kevin was a genial host, who was very knowledgeable about the local wine scene. He also managed to keep our 7-year-old daughter entertained while we focused on the wine. I would highly recommend this tour.

The half day tour, which started with a winery lunch, was well organized but never rushed. The tour host, Vic, was fun to be with, helped us with transfers from 'Christchurch to Blenheim' train, and dropped us at our accommodations.
