Great tour seeing the magnificent vistas around. The cathedral is a must see. Magnificent seaside markets with amazing seafood, cheese and charcutiere.

READ THE FINE PRINT. Individuals that participated did not read the fine print and were not able to participate fully and it resulted in a loss of immense time. We expected to spend time at each location and were rushed through. Our guide was on time, driver for the bus was excellent but what was described and what occurred are two different things. Upon seeing the city. You can do this one your own from the cruise terminal. Just hop on the free bus to the city center. And then get a local trolley to the area attractions.

Good value compared to tours organized through the cruise ship, but a less organized and slightly rushed experience. The tour was over an hour later starting. The ship docked late and we still had to wait like 30 minutes for anyone to show up at the meeting location and another 30 minutes or more on the bus before getting underway. The time at each stop felt a little rushed. I think either a longer tour or one less stop would make sense. Especially the final stop near the harbour would benefit from more time so people can grab food and walk to the interesting parts, since the bus stops at the very end away from everything. The guide had some interesting commentary, but clearly was less experienced than other guides on our vacation. The stops were incredible overall.

The tour itself was good and the tour guide Mariano was very informative. I was disappointed in the tour company as I messaged them twice the day prior to our tour to confirm pick up place and how to recognise the guide. Both my messages were unanswered. Another passenger was also commenting in regard to how difficult it was to find the pick up point. Our ship was docked in the new port and it was a 1.2 klm walk to the start point. Some other passengers were docked at the old port and needed to get a taxi to the start point. Quite a bit confusing. Other Viatour tour operators have been great with their communication - but not this one Domitia tours.

Mario was an exceptional host! A great sense of humor along w his historical knowledge made the tour a10/10! Truly enjoyed the time he spent with us and the bonus cathedral. Marseille is a beautiful city but it has no context wo the right tour guide. Mario far exceeded our expectations ! Highly recommend!
