Our evening food tour will lead you through the lively streets and squares of the artist’s neighborhood. This is one of the most interesting areas of Marseille, the up and coming center of contemporary art, innovative shops and restaurants, and vibrant nightlife.
Enjoy the happy hour like the locals, relaxing with a cocktail or a glass of wine or a pastis (there’s plenty of choice!) and delighting in the many different local specialties, discovering how french cuisine mixes with the other mediterranean traditions.
During this tour you will taste some of the city’s specialties, most of them in a form of "tapas," such as panisse or aioli. Everything is selected for you by locals. You will discover the nightlife of Marseille and catch some history and culture anecdotes!

This tour took place in a very run down part of town that was quite scary to walk from when the tour was over. The stops were not well planned (1 was closed) and it all seemed very over priced for the experience. The guide was very nice but we didn’t learn anything on the tour about the city except to avoid that area!

Experienced a variety of local/French food and drink. We especially enjoyed tasting the cheeses. Our guide, Simone, presented a great mix of history and legends and made the tour enjoyable.

Good food and good guide. There could have been more food, but the dishes were good and local. Recommend.
