The Martha Brae Rafting tour is one of Jamaica's popular rafting tours mainly because of the legend of the Martha Brae River. Located in Falmouth, Trelawney a 30-minute drive from Montego Bay, Martha Brae River is there for you to enjoy a wonderful rafting tour to commune with nature and some exciting folklore to entertain you. Enjoy a slow, peaceful ride on a bamboo raft down the calm slow-moving river under the shade of the many huge trees on its banks which provide shades and cool gentle wind to keep you cool along the river banks. Enjoy the flora and fauna and see the rocks carved into animals and other things by the water. Listen to the many different sides of the folklore attached to this magnificent river. Please note: This is just a private transfer service to Martha Brae Rafting Village. A river rafting experience must be purchased separately.

Luminous Lagoon

This excursion is a one-of-a-kind experience. At night, the lagoon sparkles and glistens when disturbed, as these microscopic organisms produce an eerie glow, reflecting the outlines of fish and other objects in the water. The Luminous Lagoon is said to be the largest and most brilliant of four in the world, a fact that continually attracts and awes visitors and scientists from around the world Simply visit Jamaica’s most visually striking point of interest. At twilight get aboard a boat in the lagoon, sail out, and be stunned as “nature” comes alive. As the boat moves, the path it takes glows as bright as fireflies, imagine seeing the lighted outlines of fishes as they move. If you are a swimmer jump in and you will glow once there is any movement. If you are looking forward to exposing one of “NATURES GEMS” mere words cannot explain. Seeing is believing.

Oraine is an absolute gem. Were spent 4 days with him- the tours were great but what sets Oraine apart is how knowledgeable, friendly and caring he is. Additionally, my two teenagers were kept constantly engaged and happy for four full days of tours that covered pretty much every tourist attraction in Jamaica (if you’ve met teenagers recently, you know what that takes). My wife suffered a minor medical emergency that he effortlessly got taken care of. He was unswervingly kind and even went well beyond working hours to ensure that we wouldn’t miss out on anything we wanted to do - in fact, he added on things of his own accord at no extra cost! Want that amazing meal or exotic fruit ? No problem! Shopping for very specific items? You got it! Additional excursions into nature? He has your back. I can’t say enough good things about this man. Trust me, you really want to be in his very capable hands. And my South Asian friends (I’m Indian) - Oraine really gets us and the food/flavors we like, but the same is true for travelers from other parts of the world…

Oraine was our driver for my birthday trip 10/25 - 10/30 . He was super helpful and he made sure we made it to and from each destination safely. He made great suggestions and alterations when needed . He stayed with us the entire time and never left our side . He was very involved and with this being my first time to the island I appreciate it so much ..he made my trip one to remember and if you ever decide to come to Montego Bay … Make sure you get work Oraine with pure vibes tours he also can book your excursions and sections at the clubs .
