  • Beautiful places, well organised trip

This is a great trip. Both the caves and canyon are very beautiful. Joseph is a great guide and not only helped us understand the geology of these places, but also the history of Kutaisi. Valer, our driver, was also very kind and respectful.

  • Not worth it from Batumi, over long day

The tour was 90% on a bus. Folks based in Kutaisi may have had a better time of it. The guide was literally just speaking rehearsed lines in Prometheus cave, lovely as he was. It took us 2.5 hours to get to Kutaisi from Batumi, pick up was perfect, car was clean and driver was nice. The day was not well planned. Tickets could be bought online but we queued up in a massive line. We then had to wait 1.5 hours for the tour to start (combined with the group from Kutaisi and lotsore folks) We then went to Martivli Canyon which was literally just a 400m walk. However, a group member was able to negotiate a discount for 30 GEL per head in a jeep to visit 2 waterfalls and 2 canyons, all of which took 1.5 hours and were quite impressive. We then went back to Kutaisi which took 1.5 hours and then waited another hour for the jeep to arrive which then took just the 2 of us and then picked up 3 passengers from Kutaisi airport. The day was unplanned and unnecessarily long. The day started at 8, we left at 9 and returned at almost midnight, all of which could have been mitigated by better planning. The staff were all lovely but overall I would not recommend if you're leaving from Batumi. Price wise also in it was only worth it if we included the taxi ride to and forth Batumi and Kutaisi.

  • Nice trip but long traveling

The trip is nice but all was on hurry. It’s a lots of travelling between the locations. We started our journey at 6.30am and get back at 11.00pm. It’s 2.30h from Batumi. The driver wasn’t polite. He drove very dangerous and kept extremely cold in the bus.He can’t speak English.

  • not worth it to 12 hours

It was 12 hours of a trip from Batumi and honestly it wasn’t productive at all. Lunch took forever and late, but the ectivities took few minutes, max 15 minutes. They put everyone together in boats. On other hand the Saba the Guide was with a very nice and friendly attitude.
