For this excursion, you will be picked up from your hotel area by our airconditioned bus. The first stop is at the Spili village. You will have a chance to see a 100% traditional village with its well know lion-head fountains in the middle of the village. Walking along its cobbled streets you can explore the tourist shops which are full of traditional Cretan products. The next stop is at the amphitheatrically built village of AgiaGalini. Here will have 2 hrs to explore the village. The next stop is at Matala where you will have 3 hr of free time to enjoy the golden sandy beach. Matala is not only known for its beautiful beaches but also for its artificially carved caves that date all the way back to the Minoan period. These same caves were later occupied by a hippy commune in the late 60’s and 70’s. Many musicians have composed song about the beauty of Matala including Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens. The bus will then take you back to your hotel ending this amazing excursion.

5.00Very good tour guide (Lazarus) and super bus driver (Jerry). We went on this tour on Saturday, 21.09.2025 and were really excited. Lazarus has been doing various tours for 32 years and knew a lot to tell in an extremely pleasant voice. All in English and German one after the other. The bus driver Jerry skilfully circled our 50-person bus around even the smallest corners, phenomenal! This tour is offered on the seafront for 25€ per person. Be sure to ask when Lazarus has the tour guide:-)

5.00Great service from Markidis. We had Anastasia who was fab throughout. Thought we would have time on tge beach at Aghia Galini. But unfortunately not, but we were there on. Greek bank holiday do we did tge itinerary in reverse to avoid crowds. Matala's sea was beautiful, but beach very crowded, but again - Greek bank holiday, but had 3 hours there so can't complain.

5.00Couldn’t find anywhere to book at the last minute because of bad weather and Markidis came to rescue. The gentleman at the office was very helpful in booking our tour. Anastasia and Panos the driver were excellent. We had a lovely time despite a little rain. Highly recommend.

5.00A beautiful day with many nice impressions, we enjoyed it despite the somewhat mixed weather. And this was not only due to the beautiful destinations, but also to Panaiotis, the extremely confident driver and Anastasia, the incredibly nice and courteous tour guide, who again conveyed a lot of interesting things with a lot of charm. And as always, we went with the company for the third time in a row today, everything was just perfectly organized. We can highly recommend Markidis.

5.00Was a nice informative tour , our travel companion spoke very good German but also in English we understood everything .but what should be mentioned , should you book this tour , I would recommend taking sturdy footwear with you, at least if you want to see the caves of Matala . In my case I have to say unfortunately this was not the case and that is why I did not take this tour , as there is still a risk of slipping. But otherwise a great trip with many sights. Can only recommend this Enterprise

5.00The coach picks you up in front of your hotel which is very convenient. Beautiful discovery of the 3 sites where there is enough time to make a tour, unlike other tour operators you are not stressed. One little regret the crowded Spili beach, and it was June, but if it tempts you, a nice little artery for shopping! Our companion Anastassia was as attentive as she was competent, and our driver Yanis was no less friendly, in the end a day to recommend
