This was a tale of two tours. The chocolate tour was okay. The chocolate makingwas more of a demonstration than a hands on experience. The chocolate was good and we learned a lot about the process, but it was a little slow. The waterfall was our favorite part. The scenery was nice and the falls were not busy when we were there. If we had it to do again, we’d just go to the waterfalls ourselves and skip the chocolate tour.

We had a great experience. This was a tour to accommodate our son with special needs, so the physical demands were not significant. Our guide Israel went out of his way to make arrangements with the restaurant to prepare a meal that our son could eat. Israel was also extremely knowledgeable and informative and the trip was very interesting. The Mayan chocolate farm and factory were a lot of fun and tasty. The waterfalls were beautiful and fun to swim in, a very short hike from the parking area. It was an enjoyable experience for the whole family.

We used them for a chocolate tour, bioluminescent tour and transportation to the airport and I highly recommend those guys! They have the best guides and I learned so much from the drives alone

Israel was the consummate tour guide. From the moment he picked us up, he educated my husband and myself about the beauty, the ecosystems, the economy, and the tourism of Belize. We drank in every fact on our way to the Che'il Mayan Chocolate Center. We chose the 1/2 day tour and could not have been happier. Israel also provided cold water, which was a welcome touch. Israel was also keen-eyed tour guide, spotting a toucan for us to appreciate and photograph. We'd love to use Israel and his company again.

I can't even begin to express the amazing experience we had in Belize. Israel was knowledgeable, extremely punctual and reliable, and made every experience fun and a trip of a lifetime. Shout out to Alex as well, for being the sharp eyes in our Howling Monkey tour and hosting lunch in his family home.

This tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Basilio aka Bas was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable in Mayan history. Not only gave us a great history rundown but provided a great experience for my group. The chocolate making part of the tour was one for the books. We were welcomed with open arms into a private residence in a mountain village where we where shown the whole process of chocolate making and all cacao benefits. The food provided to us was traditional and delicious. Ending the day at a beautiful waterfall with chill time. Coming from a non swimmer, I felt completely at ease and safe. The deep area near the waterfall is only for the swimmers. Bas went above and beyond and pulled me on a lifebuoy closer to the water fall. The non swimmer in me was terrified but would do it again, thanks to him. Our group was lucky enough to get Bas again as a tour guide on another excursion involving hiking and another waterfall.

Remarkable Mayan Chocolate Experience that ends with a Beautiful Hidden Waterfall Swim! Everyone enjoyed learning about the most important food Chocolate- tour the Mayan cocoa farm and participate in grinding beans with ancient Mayan tools. After we went to a cool tropical waterfall we jumped in & swam under the falls!
