We booked this tour via our hotel and the whole process was seamless, we were collected from the door of our hotel and greeted by Enrique who was an amazing tour guide. He went into so much detail about the history of where we were, He made us feel very safe, especially when we were swimming through the Cenote, which can be very claustrophobic! I cannot recommend Enrique highly enough to anyone looking for this type of tour in the area.

We had an amazing time on our excursion!! Our tour guide Julio and driver Alfonso were spectacular!! They made the trip fun, safe, educational, and most of all- exciting!! The swimming in the cenote was a magical experience. Definitely worth it!! It’s like nothing I’ve ever done before and my wife and I loved every second of it. Then, snorkeling with the sea turtles was so neat. We had plenty of time to see the turtles and enjoy the warm water and views. Julio and his team are the best!! Highly recommend!!

Picked up promptly by minibus from our resort hotel by Enrique and his team about 7.45 am. There were 11 of us in total, family of 5 and 3 couples. Visited Tulum first, the sun was already so hot and Enrique was excellent in finding shady areas to stop and share his knowledge of the Mayan civilisation. We then drove inland onto the cenote. Firstly we walked around the grounds then down steep steps into the cave, along boardwalks to view the stalactites. We then got changed and swam in the refreshing water. The headroom was very low but once you got used to the temperature of the water it was an amazing experience. Enrique was very caring and guided us through the tight spaces. His colleagues took a series of photos and videos with underwater cameras. A delicious typical lunch was provided by some Mayan descendants. After lunch we has dried off then headed back to the coast to the beautiful Akumal Bay. Here we swam with the sea turtles. I'm not a confident swimmer, but snorkel masks and life jackets provided were worn by all. So glad I did it as it was an amazing experience :-) We purchased the photo/video package that was edited and emailed promptly to us afterwards. Returned to our hotel by 4pm. An excellent tour, highly recommend.
