After the concrete jungle of Sliema and the crowds of Valletta Mdina and Rabat are a breath of fresh air. Chris is a really knowledgeable and engaging guide. As well as giving all the history, and inside information about Mdina, he gives a very personal tour of Rabat including his own Church. He impresses on the importance of the relationship between the church and the community, and how that intertwines with the history. Really recommended.

Chris was a superbly knowledgeable and entertaining guide, with countless tidbits about the local history (and gossip) that you wouldn't get from a guidebook. His love of Mdina and Rabat shone throughout. Would definitely recommend.

Christian was a wonderful guide around Mdina and Rabat, he taught us so much of the history of Malta and kept things light with plenty of quips and anecdotes. So well recommended that it's actually my second time taking this tour; first time solo and then with my partner on a later visit to Malta.

The tour with Chris did not disappoint my expectations. After taking the walking tour of Valletta, I was so satisfied that I decided to join him again for the Rabat and Mdina tour. Chris is a very knowledgeable and professional guide who knows how to capture your attention and curiosity with the stories and anecdotes he shares. Two and a half hours fly by with him, and by the end you feel truly enriched. Thank you, Chris — until next time!”

Christian is very knowledgeable and made a rainy afternoon in Mdina and Rabat so more enjoyable. We learnt a lot about these two cities, not only the history but some general knowledge about church etc.

This was a fantastic walking tour, even on a rainy and windy day. I learned a lot about Mdina and Rabat, and I enjoyed Chris’ stories of growing up in the area. Chris is a great storyteller and kept the tour entertaining, while also sharing a lot about the history of the area. I highly recommend it.

Even if the weather was against us, the tour led by Chris was great and really interesting. the explanations were plenty and the personal stories made this tour a success. This tour of the two cities with historic references is a good way to understand the complicated history of Malta. If you have an afternoon, go for it, it is worth the visit.
