What To Expect
There is no time to waste when exploring the stunning Tuscany hills! Meet your tour guide at Piazzale Montelungo Bus Terminal early in the morning. Piazzale Montelungo is located 5-10 minutes walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station. Hop on the comfortable coach bus, choose your seat, and relax before departing on your journey! The drive to Monteriggioni will take about one hour. During the journey, your guide will entertain you with plenty of interesting information about Tuscany and its sights on the way. Upon arrival, your expert guide will share some interesting information and fun stories about Monteriggioni! If you have any questions, your guide will be there to assist you.
Monteriggioni
After about 40 minutes by bus, arrive in Monteriggioni, a charming medieval fortress set atop a hill. Enjoy 45 minutes of free time to stroll through the village squares and soak up its timeless atmosphere. Guests may also choose to walk along the fortress walls (optional, extra cost).

4.00Our tour guides were Lion and Fillipa. We had a great time exploring 3 different places and enjoying wine tasting at a winery. We were also given lots of helpful tips and facts during the bus ride between each location. We felt we didn't quite have long enough in San Gimignano, another 30-60 minutes would have been nice even if this meant arriving in Florence later. Overall we had a great time.
Very enjoyable and relaxing day.

3.00Our guides, Leon and Fillipa were fine. The local guide in Siena was not good. She spoke in a continuous monotone and it was hard to follow her. She was short and did not carry a flag or anything so we weren't always sure where she was. The group was very large (78) people and that made it take a long time to get the group when walking from place to place. Most tours I have experienced were half that size or smaller. I would not recommend this to anyone.
