This amazing tour departs from the reception desk at the Medieval Mile Museum where you also have all day access to. Our local expert guides will take you on a 75 minute stroll along the ancient streets of Kilkenny, returning to the museum along the High Street. Note: We have hand held audio sets so you can hear our guide speaking a little louder as you walk through the bustling streets.

Let us know you have arrived at the reception of the Medieval Mile Museum. Then we start the tour outside.

5.00Great tour!! John was an incredible guide. Our walkabout was filled with wonderful stories and interesting sights. I have to mention that John used audiophones that allowed us to hear everything he was saying especially on noisy streets.

5.00This is a great tour that gives you insight into many nuggets of information and sights that you would normally miss if you went exploring Kilkenny on your own - with or without a guidebook. Our tour guide John was a real font of knowledge. He was very engaging and tailored his tour depending on the size of the group, where we were from and our fitness levels. The walking tour also includes all-day entry into the museum which is fascinating in itself.
