Our first stop is a tour of traditional cheese-making on a family-owned farm. There we can see the cheese-making process. Then you will sample fresh halloumi and have a Mediterranean branch.
Our next stop is a local winery, where we will have a short tour around the winery and a wine-tasting session with local winery varieties.
A short distance further, we will visit the Bee and Embroidery Museum. Featuring information and tools used throughout history in Agriculture and beekeeping.
Then, we will visit Lefkara - voted as one of the 30 most beautiful towns in Europe - where we will visit one of the many famous Lace and Silver workshops.
After we will head to Fikardou, a village dating back to the 16th century. Today is on the Tentative List of UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
For last and best will visit a traditional tavern where you will have a selection of local dishes, served in the traditional Cypriot meze style, with options included for vegetarians!

Crisp aromas drift through a light breeze as you sip exquisite wines amidst sun-baked vineyards. You wander through a family-run winery blending modern production with rustic charm, exploring grape-to-bottle stories in their small museum. All punctuated by sweeping mountain views, earthy stone buildings, oak barrels aging quietly in cool cellars.

5.00We were taken to some ancient, forgotten villages in the mountains, it felt like we were being teleported to a different century! I enjoyed the tour, despite the rain and fog, and the food we sampled. I can only imagine how stunning the valley would be on a clear day. Our guide, Andy, was fabulous! - knowledgeable, a good narrator, conscientious and an overall nice person.

5.00A full day packed with visits to many places. Our guide Katarina was lovely. Very knowledgeable. A small tour with 6 people. Would definitely recommend as an opportunity to see so much of the area in one day with lots of history and culture.

5.00A Fantastic Day with Andy – We had the most incredible day exploring Cyprus with our brilliant tour guide, Andy. His knowledge, warmth, and passion for the island made the entire experience unforgettable from start to finish. One of the absolute highlights was the visit to Louisa’s farm for a halloumi-making experience. Louisa and her family were incredibly welcoming, and the hands-on demonstration was both fun and fascinating. The extra touch of a homemade brunch gave us the chance to sample the freshly made halloumi — truly delicious and something we’ll never forget. Next, we visited the beautiful village of Lefkara. Nestled in the mountains, it was much larger than we expected and full of charm. The village church was absolutely stunning, and watching local artisans delicately sew traditional lace was a special experience. The intricate handmade silver pieces in the local shops were also a real treat to see — such craftsmanship! To round off the day, we stopped at Christoudia Winery, where we had the chance to taste a wide variety of locally produced wines. Each one had its own unique character, and we couldn’t resist taking a few bottles home with us. Throughout the day, Andy took us to several breathtaking viewpoints, each one offering a different perspective of Cyprus’s diverse landscape. His thoughtful itinerary gave us a genuine insight into traditional Cypriot culture, and we left with a deeper appreciation for the island’s heritage. All in all, a fantastic and enriching day — highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the authentic side of Cyprus.

5.00Andy was an excellent driver and guide, switching with ease from English to Cypriot Greek for the three lovely Australian-Cypriot ladies who were on the tour with me and my English-speaking daughter. We loved the brunch at Loulou's halloumi farm, after which we went to Lefkara, then to a beautiful monastery before going to a village with one permanent inhabitants and an excellent restaurant for a delicious authentic Cypriot meal. I can thoroughly recommend the tour.
