Excellent trip. Martin was a great guide, very knowledgable. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting a half day to PelicanPoint. Communication with the company prior to the trip was prompt and gave me all the information we needed.

This was an excellent tour to Pelican Point. There were 6 of us from the Holland America Zuiderdam. JP the owner of the company was one of the 2 guides. We saw salt processing, jackals, and dozens of flamingos and pelicans. We also saw hundreds of seals, amazing. At the end of the tour we had lunch at the beach, still enjoying the view. But, most important, we had been in a Red Dune safari last year and I lost my cell phone under the seats. When I realized I didn't have it, I contacted JP and asked if he could find it. He found it on the van he rented for that tour, and sent it to Spain at my request, since we had already left Namibia, and we would get to Spain a week later, hopefully with enough time for it to get there. I will always remember how JP saved the day, and wouldn't take money from me for a donation to a favorite charity. This time, I gave him a tip, and made him take money for his charity. JP, thanks, you are wonderful!

Amazing! Thank you so much for organizing such an amazing tour! We managed to book the tour just a few days before the arrival of our cruise ship. The staff is very friendly and open to communication!

We were lucky enough to visit Namibia on a self-drive tour in July. With only two weeks, we realised that fitting in viewing seals, something we very much wanted to do, was going to be tricky. So we looked at the possibility of fitting in a tailor made trip to Pelican Point whilst en route from Sossusvlei to Swakopmund. We got in touch with JP shortly before leaving the UK and got a very prompt email back saying that he would happily put something together for us that should be workable. It was all rather vague on our side as we had little idea what time we'd reach Walvis Bay but he was happy to go ahead on this basis. Anyway, it all worked fine - we met, were taken by JP out to Pelican Point passing a large flock of flamingos on the way and via a couple of drives down a sand dune (fun!) and in addition to a large number of seals saw jackals and a variety of other birds. JP was knowledgeable on all this and - quite unexpectedly on our part, produced a picnic (mostly made by his wife and delicious!) and bottle of champagne for us. We achieved exactly what we wanted to and thorough talking with JP greatly increased our knowledge of Walvis Bay and indeed Namibia as a whole. Thoroughly recommended.

Thanks to Jacques for a wonderful tour of Walvis Bay. We felt like real pioneers travelling across the sand dunes and peninsula in his Mitsubishi 4x4. He showed us thousands of pink flamingos, shoals of African fur seals and acres of salt pans. All this, and a tasty picnic lunch prepared by his sister in law. We booked this on line prior to our cruise from Australia on the CMV ship Astor. The tour was vastly superior to any booked through the cruise company.

We really appreciated the personal attention we received from JP. He fetched us from our accommodation and dropped us off. The salt works was very interesting and we loved seeing the seals close up. JP was very knowledgable about the plants and we were lucky to see the jackal pups out of the nest. Appreciated the little picnic table set up with delicious homemade snacks next to the shipwreck. Highly recommended.

The tour was really fantastic. We saw a lot and laughed a lot. All was explained very well, thanks to JP! He made us feel good and knew a lot about the environment and the animals. We also enjoyed the food that JP's wife made for us. Delicious!! Thank you JP (and your wife) for this beautiful experience!! Ben, Tecla and Afra

Perfect half day trip. JP, our guide met us as we disembarked with a comfortable 4 wheel drive SUV. He took us to Dune 7 before anyone else was there making it even more impressive. We then had a hair raising, fun dune drive and proceeded to Pelican Point. He showed us hundreds of flamingos and seals and some jackals along with interesting facts about the lighthouse and salt works that we saw en route. As all good safaris do, we had to stop for refreshments and we had "bubbly" and delicious homemade snacks. We thoroughly recommend this company and tour.

An amazing guide, Andre and a truly remarkable tour covering contrasting areas around Walvis Bay. Firstly the Pelicans and Flamingos, the Salt Works mining and the peninsula with all the seals before turning off to the Delta, being treated with a lovely bottle of bubbly, home baking. Was truly great
