5.00We like a walking tour and although my other half wanted to cut it short and go shopping (again), I think a walking tour with a well informed guide is a great way of getting a feel for a city. Emma didn't disappoint. Not sure where I goth the impression that Melbourne retained a lot of its colonial past, it isn't that, instead we found a modern and vibrant city with less of its past preserved than you might expect. We thought Emma was great and gave us a great foundation for more exploring during our stay. The Queen Victoria Market is a must, especially the food market.

5.00Our guide’s name was Maeve and her knowledge of the city and its history made the tour a marvellous experience. She very quickly understood what we were interested in learning and seeing and she really made the tour tailored for our interests. She is a wonderful story teller and the three hours went by in a flash. It was worth every penny!
